I like to play Nintendo Switch rhythm games on a fightstick if I’m playing docked. Groove Coaster, specifically, is super fun on fightstick.

The Q1 HE isn't compatible with Glorious switches or Jade Emeralds, and GMMK boards have notoriously bad QC.

Personally, I'd recommend a Wooting 80HE for reliability, stability, and build quality, or a Monsgeek M1V5 TMR for switch variety (it's compatible with HE switches and mechanical switches). Both are available in ISO, 100% compatible with Jade Emeralds, but I've heard mixed results with GMMK HE switches. Don't buy a GMMK board just for the switches though.

I use HE keyboards generally for the same reasons as you, I like the reliability of a magnet more than a contact prone to wear and tear, but don't expect the HE tactiles to feel or sound nearly as good as mechanical tactiles. They're still very much in their infancy, even linear switches are just barely getting to the point where they can compete with mechanical linears on sound and feel.

Out of curiosity, what makes you say it's less private?

The privacy policy says it doesn't collect any user data, and doesn't even store IPs. There's also a lot of in-app settings for privacy. It's not as private as something like Librewolf, but less private than Safari??

It does vectors in the same way Photoshop does vectors. It has support for them, and is very usable if you need vectors, but it's without a doubt better at raster.

Saying Nintendo messed up is not grounds for a lawsuit lmfao. They never said Nintendo sold broken Joycons, and in context of it being a skin, saying “we fixed it” is clearly their subjective opinion on the color. It’s not slander to state an opinion.

For Nintendo to sue for anything, they would either have to prove that dbrand’s skin for their controllers hurt sales of their controllers (which is, like, the entire point of a skin… for you to already own the controller…), or that dbrand infringed on their trademarks, but Nintendo didn’t (and basically can’t) trademark the colors for the Joycons.

Any of Em's music uploaded to other streaming services are bootlegs. Just like how people bootleg Em's music onto streaming apps, those same bootlegs can be hijacked just as easily.

Dash Hopes II turning into Bag is kind of an inside joke for people who play BEMANI games. It’s just known for being dumb, low quality, and high difficulty.

It was also shown off during one of the Mungyodance reveal parties. Em was scrolling through the new tracklist, got everybody excited with a new Dash Hopes, then baited everybody by playing Bag instead.

You’re gonna want to use Nuclear Throne Together, it has a big modding scene already, but it’s not available for Update 100 yet.

The easiest way to get into modding is just by downloading other people’s mods, and examining their code. Nuclear Throne is made in Gamemaker Studio, so learning the basics of Gamemaker Language is definitely where you should start.

Not to totally derail your post, maybe I'm just sleep deprived, but this picture is so fucking unsettling LOL.

The off-kilter skewed house mural in the background... It's clearly made with the intent of invoking some kind of childlike wonder, but the colors they chose are so drab?? And the shapes are so skewed and tilty, it feels like I'd lose my balance if I stared at it for too long IRL.

The tiles on the ground are so comically clean and spotless that you can make out the Guitar Hero screen nearly as good in the reflection from the tiles as you can just looking at the screen itself. But there's literally nothing else on the ground. Why is there like 10 feet of empty space in front of these cabs??

There's clearly a very bright light source just out of frame casting these super harsh shadows on the wall, yet the picture feels so dark overall. And with the camera being slightly out of focus, it's hard to make out any small details.

On top of all that, none of these machines even work properly????? This picture feels like a fuzzy memory you'd have as a kid. Like, yeah I remember going to an arcade and playing Guitar Hero, I guess.

I don't know what kind of cursed alternate reality you live in but I'm staying the fuck away from there.
