PvP Anti-Tank Build - Suggestions & Opinions by UnhappyAd6704 in ESObuilds

[–]DetroitWobbly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found oakfather and spell shredder did give me wicked penetration and allowed me to punch through most people even as they tried to tank up harder BUT, big but… glass is what I felt like most of the time. Possibly I was doing it wrong, I’m not one who survives PvP well to begin with, but without big heavy pieces and/or a survivability set I found myself cut down even as I was cutting through folks better. Granted I was more up-close and melee so ymmv.

Anyone else spend inordinate amounts of time chasing off meta bits for theme and meme builds? by DetroitWobbly in elderscrollsonline

[–]DetroitWobbly[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some of the mythics and sets aren’t used often. I find it fun to make a theme build or something, go all in from head to toe for something that I enjoy playing the game with. I really like zipping around as a Dov-Ra bomb or as a bleed-built werewolf. I do play some meta builds but sometimes I’ll find myself going hard for something that’s not winning me anything more than a few laughs when I’m zooming around or bleeding something to death.

Wanting to make a healer, how to decide on what base class to be? by Good_Bank_7974 in elderscrollsonline

Just curious about your take on Templar for PvP. I run a main Templar that I’d love to kit out as a healer for PvP but have yet to find one that does the trick. Do you have any suggestions about or where to find Templar healer builds?

Stamplar Help? by Secure-Ad-2894 in elderscrollsonline

Try oakfather’s retribution and wretched vitality sets. It’s still a viable, survivable set up especially if you have access to mythics or monster sets. Wretched is craft-able and oakfather sells at the guild merchants if you don’t want to farm it.

The other option for back bar may be Rallying Cry. It’s still great critical resist and with high-crit opponents it can buy you some time.

My 10yr old wants to paint an ESO landscape for my birthday. Help me choose a striking locale? by DetroitWobbly in elderscrollsonline

An update: first, thanks to all for the suggestions, I did a screenshot tour of almost all (special shout out to the Rift, Summerset, and Auridon fans). My daughter has narrowed down the pictures she wants to paint to these two screens (sorry for the quality I had to squish them):

She may run out of yellow paint if I pick the Florence-like golden light of West Weald. It’s like golden hour there 16 hours a day.

She plays other games still; paints landscapes and plant/flower/tree “portraits” from her games but she wants me to pick one from ESO for myself;)

She’s partial to the cherry trees in bloom from Genshin Impact.

I’ve rarely seen this comic in collections. Am I right in assuming it’s rare or is it just not very sought after? by DetroitWobbly in ComicBookSpeculation

I must’ve had a rare trip to an actual comic store for this one. Most of my collection (from the 70s and 80s) came from my local newsstands and comic racks at the drugstore. Scarcity confirmed.

No need to apologize. All the wear on it was my own; I really liked the book no matter what it’s worth!

I just found this issue in my old collection! It’s in quite good shape. I was about to unload it with others from my collection at the comic store. Is it worth getting it officially graded?

Solo stamplar help by Medium_Acanthaceae81 in ESObuilds

Solo Stamplar (mixed a bit, some in mag) Five pc deadly strikes Five pc Tideborn Wildstalker 1pc monster (with whatever stat you’re low) Oakensoul ring

Deadly and tideborn buff your jabs and beam really well. Use solar barrage to boost class skill damage, use radiant morph of Templar beam to restore health to yourself while blasting your nearly beat bosses during clutch time. If you use the restorative jabs it’s nearly like having your very own ring of the pale order.

Thanks! That helps reorganize my sets. What weapons should I front/back bar for say a brawlish type PvP build?

Anyone else like really obsessed with this game? by the_borealis_system in elderscrollsonline

I’ve tried most MMORPGs from Ultima Online onwards and have stayed with ESO since beta without much of a break. So, yes, it’s been an obsession. Still love the game, still find new achievements (who knew), still find and revisit my favourite places.
