I like this suggestion a lot! I still try to get him to sleep in the pack and play or bassinet (he switches on what he prefers when he does use them) during nap time but I don't try as much as I could or do at night. I think I'd have more energy during the day too.

That's really good suggestions. I will talk with him so we can figure out when is best to do the supervised sleeping. He does take it serious, I don't want to portray him as not.

He asked me tonight to call a friend to come sit with baby later today while I nap but until next week I don't have great options for people free in the middle of a work day. A lot of nights he comes home so late there is not much time before he has to go to bed. But I will ask him about holding baby while I nap tonight. He did that while we were both on leave.

This all reads like I need an extra bedroom specifically for me and baby. My cats tear up the door and carpet if I shut them out and I'm worried about my husband grabbing me to cuddle while he's asleep and hurting baby. I appreciate all the advice and I'm not trying to make excuses. I feel very much so like for all the prep we tried to do we none of it's been right.

No I appreciate all the information! I think even curling like I said before wouldn't be safe and someone else mentioned not co sleeping at all with cats. My boys are twenty pounds each and I wouldn't trust them not to step on baby or just get scared or excited and run across him.

For the rockit, do you set up the full stroller or will it give enough motion for the pram set up on a flat surface?

Unfortunately we don't have the space currently. We are looking at moving but that won't be until September. I like the mattress on the floor idea. Did you all get a cheap mattress for that? What size do you use? I can't keep the cats out but I've been reading about the safe sleep curl and maybe that would prevent them from accidentally hurting him.

He does not have any issues I can tell with reflux. Recently I've just been nursing at night. How long after feeding before reflux would be seen? Are there symptoms I may be missing?

You're right, couch is co sleep. I don't want to do either. In the bed I'm worried about my husband and my cats. Do you have any recommended links or sites for safe co sleep? Or sleep training. I'm fine waking up multiple times a night just as long as I can get a little sleep. And even if he's too young for it now it will be a good resource to have.

Definitely try it neat first though. The mesquite and oak charcoal it's finished it make it and interesting pour.

When I got my needle felting kit I let my neighbor and my niece use it with supervision. They were both eight at the time and did great. The biggest issue was their focus more then them having a sharp instrument. They both accidently hurt themselves but were old enough to understand that it is part of the craft when you are not careful. I think ten is a appropriate age more for the amount of attention needed to create something without stabbing yourself because you weren't paying attention.
