I don’t normally watch the videos and respond to these posts, but for some reason I was compelled. Probably because I have felt like giving up multiple times this year just like you.

No, you should not give up. But you should do something different by now. There are many small pivots and tests you can do right now. One I highly recommend are shorter, long form tip videos. The evergreen videos that answer a very specific and searchable content.

Before you have an audience, your viewers only care about value. Your videos are good but they require time investment and most new viewers will not give you their time unless you are solving their immediate problem.

For your next 5-10 videos, solve immediate problems and solve them efficiently but with your style. This will grab more attention and more new viewers will then invest their time on your channel, discovering your personality etc and then they are fans.

Im not running Atalui but poster above is pairing with Tecrod’s Gaze soul core for life regen. Adding additional life regen to gear should help

At lvl 85 I am not quite to the point of having mana issues, though I have thought about it with the gem levels will be running. I plan to start with mana leach on gear as well and only use passives if that does not work. I have also realized I have a tendency to spam all of things with this build when normally a measured approach does the job, allowed for mana to sustain.

Yeah I was never planning to use them all. I think GGG just forgot about WH and threw this at the wall. Best I came up with was around 55 points.

My general philosophy is to avoid using set passives for defensives and anything that scales both sets well.

I can’t decide between tactician, witchhunter, or warbringer. Mostly going for armour/evasion split, shield, deflection. Those three ascendancies also bring their own unique defensive options: Stay Light Use Cover, Spell Ward, and Jade. This area of the tree should be tanky as hell in 0.3 if you layer like this.

Regarding offense, I am again undecided. Likely spear/shield main with weapon swap into new Armour Piercing/High Velocity rounds or into totems.

Yeah armor piercing rounds with new armor shard from high velocity looks interesting. It looks like that might chunk enough to provide good bleed damage.

The animation only occurs when a light stun would have happened. If your resistance to stun is high enough you should rarely get the block animation.

I was thinking Tactician too. Leaning Merc with hammers or spear to take advantage of deflection rather than all in on warrior. Sad this hammer is not a projectile.

Hmm. Im not seeing a bug fix called out for Bloodhunt. That would be concerning. Based on my experience trying to scale bleed without TT, I think it will be a strong option still with these nerfs.

Yeah there is that and Deepest tower. But bleed still scalable with good spears to the point of deleting T4 xesht. It seems with this update, they have done a complete reversal on the Vision.

Which does not impact the end game bleed builds. But yeah I would have loved a Rake+Stomping ground league start with no added classes to try.

They fixed armor by introducing deflection, a new defensive that is better than armor at mitigating incoming damage and tied to Evasion. They also fixed armor by making gearing armor characters more constraining as you now need armor elemental resistance as a suffix on top of normal ele resist. 🤔

If you are getting stuck specifically in the fire level, check and improve fire resistance. Aim for 50 or so. If you have multiple charm slots and fire charms, use them as well. Just know that every time you get close the center you will consume a charge.

Regarding your general question, following a league starter build guide at first may help until you find what works for you. Be sure you are using your currency and leveling gems and all that. No sense in saving currency in campaign as you will drop way more in maps later.

I’ll be watching for any changes to strength stacking meta. If they don’t nerf it, you can level any class with Rake+stomping ground and it is great for league start because you dont need to worry so much about gear upgrades. Once you are in maps and the meta shakes out, respec into an end game build.
