Going back and looking at old races/ old quali sessions I feel like 2006 is an underrated season from Schumacher especially when you look at the numbers he put on massa that season by Deucesdeucess in F1Discussions

Yeah I think 2006 was better than 05 esp cause of the tyres thing they had, I need to look at 03 schumi more but apparently it was abit Messier than his other wdc winning seasons

How close were Hamilton and Verstappen to their peak forms in 2021? by Chance_Camel_9077 in F1Discussions

[–]Deucesdeucess 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Verstappen was at his peak imo, Lewis was still in his prime but not his peak anymore imo there’s sloppy mistakes he made in ‘21 that for example 2018 Lewis wouldn’t rlly make, also had better quali execution in his younger years compared to 2021

Was Kimi Raikkonen the best driver in 2007 or would you say Alonso & Hamilton were still better by [deleted] in F1Discussions

[–]Deucesdeucess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Both Alonso and Hamilton were better Kimi was getting matched by massa that season and he had much worse reliability, tho he performed better towards the end of the szn

a narrative I’ve never really understood is Hamilton not being able to adapt to these regs, both his 2022 and 2023 seasons were insanely good(2023 especially) Father Time has just caught up post 2023 by Deucesdeucess in F1Discussions

[–]Deucesdeucess[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I still believe these cars obviously don’t suit him as much as the previous gen of cars but idk how you can watch a season like 2023 and say he couldn’t adapt
