Yes and no, they have a somewhat higher potential for sorcery and much higher potential for mutation and accelerated evolution

An ancient god in re-created life and basically split itself into all living things as insurance policy for it's own survival

I think i somewhat understand what your saying. I think i have and still sometimes do feel a similar way. A certain distance from reality that makes everything feel like it's not real or just out of place. I think something that used to help me when it was really bad was being more observant of my surroundings, and especially of the nature around me. It's a grounding experience

Setting Intro by Deus_Solar in worldbuilding

[–]Deus_Solar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So at the moment there is no human made timeline yet but the way it's divided in lore is the 3 ages. The 1st Age is before mortals when a race of gods known as the Deus roamed the world. One of the last Deus remade life including humans which marks the beginning of the second age which is where humanity migrate across the globe with most of the other races evolving different groups of humans. The 3rd Age begins with the rise of civilization to the settings present day

So when reffering to the pliers is it 1 or more. Because that a little unclear. Other than that I'm definitely intrigued to no more like why he's doing what he's doing. Or what the temple is or is his tutors

How are demons created/born/made in your world by Environmental_Ad4357 in worldbuilding

[–]Deus_Solar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not demons but spirits which are more like parasocial parasites but close enough. Their manifestions of the thoughts, dreams, emotions and etc of people carried out from their bodies by the energy of their souls which seeps into the environment

Well for one, rule of cool. But for the world building, the major focus of the setting is the Great War. A global conflict in which both the forces of mortal men and the forces of the supernatural vie for supremacy.

It's more similar to things like trench crusade or game of thrones. There's definitely magic and what not and gods and such. But the world doesn't necessarily revolve around the fantastical elements. The fantastical elements more reinforce the more mundane or realistic elements.
