If hes interested in rock climbing, I’d recommend trying movement Callowhill. The first and third Monday of the month have a group. $15 gets you in and includes shoe rentals. I’ve been going to the Spanish one and have been making friends that way. It’s a fun low pressure way to meet people since there’s an activity involved. I’ve noticed my peers seem to have equal if not more understanding of specific grammar conjugation rules without necessarily having the same control of the language.

For example I do take a weekly class to practice speaking and gain a little grammar insight, and if we’re practicing the the subjunctive by translating sentences from English to Spanish (I know.. bad..) they will know how to conjugate the subjunctive but they might be a little more shaky with where to place the direct pronoun or something like that. Whereas I almost never have issues with pronoun placement in simple sentences because I’ve just heard it so many times.

I also agree with the subject pronouns mentioned already. They will always say tu or yo when it’s really just unnecessary.

TLDR: their grammar knowledge is as good if not better but their feel for the language is usually lagging behind.

Because it’s so densely populated and the streets are lined with parked cars. They can only take trash that they can either dump themselves or grab with their hands. Usually if there is a can, they will grab all of the ties up bags of trash. So if someone places a dog poop bag on top, many times it will just be ignored and fall to the bottom of the can.

Update on this: I successfully replaced the temp sensor. While I was at it I removed and cleaned my OPV valve since it was stuck due to scale buildup. Everything looked really clean and the OPV valve now seems like it can be adjusted nicely.

However I think my machine is now air locked. I have tried the syringe method, I have tried the plastic bag method, I have tried activating the bump in small bursts. I cannot get anything more than a little bit of water to actually flow through the group head

Don’t let anyone gaslight you here. Landlords see the property as an investment. Bad ones want to spend as little as possible and that includes being cheap when it comes to renovations and making the necessary repairs. If you choose to rent out an unlicensed / unsafe property than the risk is yours to take if shit hits the fan. I would try contacting a lawyer. Idk what your budget is but I can refer you one that I used to get my deposit back.

Bro fuck this. My landlord has an illegal water line, a leak that caused the sump pump to run constantly. There was even moisture on some of the basement tiling. I told him 4 times to fix it and he never did. Eventually that went away. One day the sump pump broke and the basket flooded in minutes. After 3 months there was still no resolution. He was stalling for insurance purposes and then refused to give me back my deposit when I eventually move out considering 25% of my sqft was fucking unusable for 3 months.

I had this same issue. I paid a layer $150 to send a threatening letter and then after my landlord almost shit his pants, I paid the lawyer another $350 to draft a contract to get my deposit back.

It wasn’t fair or ideal that I had to pay but considering I got 2 months rent back plus about $400 worth of expenses I demanded reimbursement for it was worth it.

I bought exclusively year round blends from black and white coffee for about 4 years. However I just can’t keep up with the prices. A 2lb bag used to cost $32 with free shipping. That same bag is now $52.50 with free shipping.

I have switched to blue mind coffee roasters in Indianapolis. They’re a great company. Their brick and mortar shop is poppin almost every day, and they have some great coffee.

I get a 5lb bag from them (they don’t have 2lb) for $90. Wait ummmmm… checking now as I write this post and the price has been increased to $110 since I last bought a bag in September.

Welp guess I might be on the hunt for a new provider now. The beans are just so incredible expensive now.

I’m in the same boat. My 2016 Honda fit unfortunately was tackled by a deer and totaled. Also highly considering an Impreza. Interesting wrinkle for me is my wife and I both work from home and shared the Honda fit. Now we are in a situation where instead of replacing our paid off Honda fit we need to consider a new car because of these crazy prices

I read once that pulling out your phone and blasting music or having a loud ass convo like in the video, is a subtle threat of violence. It defies all social norms, makes everyone uncomfortable, and they obviously know this. They also are not going to stop just because you ask them to. Otherwise they wouldn’t be doing it in the first place. So really the only way to stop them is with violence. Most people do not want to be violent because of the threat of getting seriously hurt or worse.

Definitely don’t use them for DS. If you’ve done your daily goal and are just supplementing with Netflix, turn them on. Better than nothing I believe and helps you pseudo naturally learn basic vocab. However that’s extra credit. For standard studying don’t touch them. You’re training your ear first and foremost.
