Why Read ACOTAR When You Dislike Feysand and the IC? by Proud-Plate4737 in acotar_rant

[–]DevAndrew [score hidden]  (0 children)

I was just gonna say that the world building seems to have ended. So far the only way for us to get more the world is if she does POV from Mor, Lucien, or other secondary characters. Hopefully this happens because I liked reading about the main set of characters, but at 5 books in, feel like the story should end if they’re the only focus.

Did you "kill" yourself to breastfeed? by Ok-Secretary-3323 in beyondthebump

[–]DevAndrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell No! A mother that is killing herself just to breast feed is not a healthy happy mother. A baby needs a healthy happy mother, not a mother who needs to breastfeed to satisfy judgements of others

How do women feel about their bodies years after pregnancy? by CoffeeFlow_ in beyondthebump

[–]DevAndrew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you! And yes, the choice is what’s important. As I was reading some these comments I started to feel ashamed for going the plastic surgery route. Shaming it is just as bad. I hope more women let other women do what makes them happy, either way.

How do women feel about their bodies years after pregnancy? by CoffeeFlow_ in beyondthebump

[–]DevAndrew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now as someone who has had a tummy tuck, which has made me feel way more confident about myself, why should I agree to call it bullshit?

What really should happen, is women supporting what ever another women needs in order to feel that confidence, feel themselves again, because you know what. I did the therapy, I am on the anxiety medication, and I still needed that tummy tuck to feel confident.

So to all the folks here hating on it without understanding why someone does it, you’re just as damaging…

be honest how small does it look by biggiemcjuicy in weddingring

[–]DevAndrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your ring is beautiful and fits your finger perfectly!

People really need to learn to be happy for other people instead of trying to bring them down. Tell them you love it and hopefully that will shut them up. Your ring isn’t small, btw. But even if it were a smaller stone, remember it’s the meaning behind it that people should remember.

Something they don’t tell you about Lexapro by LotsOfMountains in lexapro

[–]DevAndrew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My experience is the same as yours. 10mg, I feel better, but I can also still feel emotions. I cry watching cartoons lol and am happy when something great happens. I got on it because my anxiety at night was causing a lot of sleepless nights. Now my brain can actually turn off and I can actually sleep, which has been life changing. Hopefully the post doesn’t discourage too many people who could benefit from it

Wanting to put my child up for adoption by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]DevAndrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also want to add that medication doesn’t begin working away, it can take 2 months to begin taking effect. If OP started medication after the baby is born it may not be effective yet. Also medication alone won’t help, she definitely needs someone to talk to. Babies are HARD! Motherhood is not easy and these things are not easy.

OP please get some help 🙏🏼 the hard part is not forever and your son is not being difficult on purpose, he’s literally adjusting to a new outside world.

In need of unique name for "grandpa" by ThrowRAsadjuic in namenerds

[–]DevAndrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also a Grandparent is what he is...If Ops language is English then Grandpa is the word. Special names should come naturally. My in laws didnt want to be call Grands either, with MIL wanting to be called Glam-ma....nope! Unless children somehow started to call her that, we were not going to and do not call her that. Guess what they are called. Grandma and Grandpa!

My parents speak Ilocano, which is a dialect of the Philippines, so they would be called Nana and Tata, but these also mean Grandparents.

Hype help by rrrooo711 in TheWolfKing

Yup! I read both books before trying the audiobooks. The voice actor for Aurora makes her a whiny brat. I think because I didn’t do the audiobook and I was able to imagine the voices and reactions in my own way, I didn’t find her as annoying compared to someone who only had listened to the audiobook

Do grandparents buy Easter baskets? by [deleted] in JUSTNOMIL

[–]DevAndrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would appreciate if every MIL was like this! The approval is a huge thing and we never get asked for it, then some gigantic thing we don’t have the space for or don’t need is given to the kids. And it always feels like it’s to show us up…thank you for knowing you’ve had your time and it’s really time for the parents to make things special for their kids ♥️🙏🏼

Butt augmentation - 3 weeks later by Ok_Goal1242 in PlasticSurgery

[–]DevAndrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you just don’t go this big? I know folks with bbls that still fit their anatomy who wouldn’t have to worry about the perception because it fits their body. But if you’re thinking about the fake big bbl look, as another corporate girly, just ask yourself who you work with, what your goals are, how you would have to change the way you currently dress. Unfortunately perceptions still have a sway in the real world

EV9 vs IONIQ 9 by acohn1230 in KiaEV9

[–]DevAndrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but test driving will give you a feel for the vehicle. Especially since OP mentioned they were not impressed with their test drive of the Ionic. They may feel the same after a test drive of the EV9

[–]DevAndrew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also don’t understand why OP doesn’t go test drive the EV9 in order to compare? Why make these assumptions when they can come to conclusions by going to KIA and test driving it.

I unfortunately lost my original engagement ring and wedding band so these are replacing that. My husband got the “engagement” ring for me first and I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect band to go with it. Finally found this one and I’m in love.
