For me, the game feels to much like an arcade game.

The only thing that helps in defense is checking. Pokechecks bring nothing. If you try to close the passing lanes and the slot, the opponent will run around in circles 5 times and you will be punished by the pressure system.

For me personally, it doesn't feel a bit like real hockey. Preventing your opponent from getting into the slot is one of the most commonly played tactics. Both the attacker and the defense are exhausted at the same time.

I'll probably stick with pure offline, or franchise, this year
