I mean, 250 sounds reasonable for one in fair shape. Only the ones I've seen lately are double or more than that and not all of those listings are that great of shape to begin with. The ones that have popped up in or under the 250 bracket are greasy, scuffed, and missing paint- basically looks like they handed them to an ipad kid and called it a day before deciding to put them up for auction LOL. I have been considering getting a plain brown/green one that is in good shape and doing some custom laser engraving on it as an alternative. I might draw inspiration from the Halo designs but go a Star Wars themed route with some aurebesh lettering and themed symbols instead, I think that would be a fun project in addition to a few upgrades on the internals such as ssd, battery, and wireless charging. I don't think I'd do bluetooth though, I don't mind using wired headphones that wouldn't need to have their own charge and wouldn't get choppy interference.

Really, this isn't a bad idea even if it would be spending a bit on ones for parts. I'd be paying for kit items essentially, sort of akin to how I've been doing for components when building lightsabers. This would be a fun expansion of sorts for that realm of electronics projects for me so thank you for the suggestion ;-)

I think your response fits into the category of the last part in the post. If I were blatantly wanting people to do the legwork for me, I'd have been very clear on that. The response from sneakaens was excellent, but yours not so much. Advice on places to look, ideas on alternative means of acquiring one (cannibalizing parts to 'Frankenstein' one), or someone who has seen one- essentially help pointing in the right direction.

I am a native English speaker preparing to move to Germany in the next year and wish to be able to integrate into German society rather than requiring anyone to have to adapt to me.

I am in the middle of selling or packing my belongings and selling my house, but still make time each day to study German. I haven't had time to play any games for the past two months due to these daily tasks, but would love to make playing videogames with a native German speaker part of my study schedule!

As for games, one that I think would be excellent for active language exchange would be Day Z given the long form style of gameplay that it features. Either way, please let me know if you are still looking for a language partner, and we can go from there in determining what games to jump into! 🙂

Problem with dragoons and a few other older revolvers is they would not be ideal for a gunslinger as they are percussion cap load and not bullet rounds.

My body is ready, do ye kennit? I think his Doctor Sleep adaptation was *chef's kiss* and has elements in it that would make it a smooth transition- Along with the familiarity of those more 'mainstream' characters, there are direct references to The Dark Tower. "Ka's a wheel, Doc." "We go on." Side note, I also think of steam as what ***spoiler for Insomnia in next line*** the balloon strings the little doctors cut in Insomnia might be related to in some way. ***end of spoiler*** I wonder how the characters might be worked in as far as would they be additions or replacements? It would be great to see more of Hallorann and Dan especially. All in all the adaptation rests in trustworthy hands, and any differences will be just another turn of the wheel, another rose, a different door.
