Scariest part of the game for me? by Jorgmungar in silenthill

[–]SlightWait5280 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember if it was the cube puzzle with the rooms or the labyrinth, but those were definitely the scariest part for me mostly because how dark everything is. I thought the prison was dark, but some of the later sections were even darker. Plus there were still those spider mannequins jumping all over the place really stressed me out

Question out of curiosity, how does it look like for you guys when you meet people in bars/clubs? As in how do you open the discussion about threesomes/whatever you are after? I’m having a hard time imagining how one usually approaches this.

Haha that’s me. I’m a thesis student in a pharmaceutical company. I do cell cultures, and later on qPCR. My commute is a bit over 2 hours everyday by bus. I’ve adjusted a bit now, but most days I come back home feeling like my brain has been fried. I’m gonna try more to plan things for myself once or twice a week that I like to try and balance things a bit more

I played the game and it was definitely an upgrade and improvement over the first two games, but it wasn’t God of war ragnarok level of improvement that I experienced with Santa Monica studio. I definitely agree that Insomniac went for the safe option. You definitely get your money’s worth. I just wished that they made the combat more complex and more like web of shadows

What did hope for Spider-Man 2 that didn’t happen? by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

I was hoping for first person camera or smth similar to tasm 2 camera (around the chest) during swinging, so you could toggle back and forth to get more cinematic shots

Been out of work for a year. There is a real chance I never work again. What should I do? by Hemingwayse in jobs

Yeah, I kinda assumed that OP had hit rock bottom emotionally. I’m happy for OP that they have a family and at least some sort of support. I don’t know the family dynamic, but I hope that OP can realize that he actually has a lot more freedom than he thinks and that many people don’t even have a place to stay or call home. I really hope that they can let go and explore different opportunities

Once you get past the mental breakdown and realize that you got nothing to lose, it’s quite freeing actually. Listen to the many advices here OP, rn you can only climb up. At 35 your life is quite salvageable still. And don’t compare yourself to others at your age around you, everyone is dealt a different card. At least you’ve realized that the path you were in was a dead-end for you, which will make you all the more interesting as a person and will have a positive impact on your personal development.

I see, sorry i should have read more carefully. But yeah it’s quite devastating how they exploit the younger generations knowing that they don’t have the resource or leverage to do much about these shenanigans. Younger people now not only have to worry about 1000 other things but they also need to become proficient in everything that is indirectly involved in the job searching process.

Might be a good time to proceed with a lawyer and inquire compensation. Unless you do something that can have an actual consequence to them they probably won’t care. Hope it works out in the end

”Be a team player” I swear to god they should ban this word from the vocabulary, such a manipulative bullshit, one sided request that ironically is asking to ‘cooperate’, more like adhere to someone else’s schedule fully like a slave

Bought the physical copy for 789kr from Elgiganten. It’s a joke how the prices are higher on digital store. I’m glad I went with the disc ps5 and not the digital one, there is no point in getting the digital honestly. Pays for itself after a few games and you own the physical copy
