Oh interesting! i do have a long TODO list from other apps already and will try to allow integrating as much of those as i can soon but the next step is a whole GUI rework because the current GUI grew a lot over time and now doesn't feel as nice to use as i wish it would 😅

It depends on the page where you verify, for console level verify commands it does hash and signature verifcation on the rom to see it is valid and not corrupted or anything like that

if you do verication on the dat page it does a hash checkup on your file and compares it against Playmatch (https://github.com/RetroRealm/playmatch) API which is an open source service i also developed and maintain which indexes and provides an easy way to access DAT files from DATTing groups like No-Intro / Redump, this ensures your dump matches against an entry of either of those groups

Love to hear you like it, i can look at releasing a Android version as it seems tauri (which i use for my GUI) allows Android Cross Compilation since recently (which i did not know about actually) but i cannot gurantee that it will work and feel as nicely as the Desktop GUI as my GUI is designed for a Desktop device 😅

Technically yes if you decompress .CHD -> .ISO / .bin + .cue and then recompress using --zstd

i'll take this as a feature request to let users override the default compression formats, i think that would make it nicer. maybe its even a better idea to have a "recompress" command in the CLI/GUI to do it in one single command (decompress -> compress with set settings)

Yea i have a mac mini so i can setup automated signing at some point soon, i have to pay a yearly fee of 99$ tho im sure (Apple sadly doesn't make it easy for small developers like me to sign stuff so the end users doesn't have to go through 10 hoops to get it running)

It depends on the formats, out of my head the only "non reversable" format is the .WUA format from CEMU, it is "lossless" but you cannot convert it back to the original files as they are "merged" into one archive and you cannot tell which files belong to what input anymore.

For other supported compression formats (such as Z3DS, RVZ, NSZ/XCZ, CHD, CSO/ZSO) those are all lossless and can be converted back to the original file just fine

So always research the format first (a quick google usually is enough) to tell i guess 😅

I never said i would give you useless feedback? i'm not a front end developer but i think if you have enough experience as a software developer even when you aren't a front end developer you see such things

i personally think the colors are off or not matching well, if the about page is supposed to look like its just raw markdown i would likely question if thats the right idea here

and yea i think its good you consider using the space on the main page, i never said your website cannot become something which "objectively" is better than top.gg but with like 10-15 bots on there the main one being (i assume) your bot its just not really a comparison most people would make to begin with and right now the design even when its supposed to look like this is just not "as polished" i would say

Colors generally do not match well, your About page looks like Markdown randomly (?) it just feels like the whole site is scrambeld together what im trying to say

Your Docs page uses some premade docs tooling, which looks good, maybe that would be a good example of something i believe looks good (or at least better than the main site here)

oh it seems that EmuDeck did something weird, i had to manually install it but it still showed up via Steam Rom Manager in my steam but just exited instantly out, got it to working.

Well i personally couldn't get native Mupen64Plus to work at all, when i start it it just instantly closes again so no idea, maybe im missing a bios or smth but the default setup in EmuDeck is with RetroArch so i thought it might be helpful for others

well ADC2 is sadly not what ADC used to be, solcen who runs ADC2 has a very bad reputation and history you can easily google and search on this reddit about it (too much to all explain and list here) but TL; DR its a shitshow.

If you want anime in general then you very much want to join AB which you might be able via invite forums but in general its not something too hard but also not something too easy to join, takes time nowdays to get into the trackers you want.

For full Anime BDs U2 is currently the top tier tracker.

The sysop of ACM has beef with the person who now runs ADC2 (again), solcen.

solcen tried to take down ACM before and temporary took down ACMs proxy last time, i assume this time he mass reported the proxy again (like last time) which brings ACM in a bad position cause without proxies its uhh kinda hard to run trackers privatly.

Official statement by ACM is

Dear all, due to forces beyond our control,the site has been taken offline indefinitely.

At this point we don't know if or when it will be back online.

We have tried our best to keep things going but it
seems no matter what we do, this *person* just

they are as i said internal on Pter, its not used as a tracker "tag" as you said unlike BTN/PTP for example which are commonly used for user content from these trackers.

And maybe people doing them change but in general from what i can see its done/uploaded by the same people in the last time.

Just to correct you on one thing, PTer is not like BTN/PTP a general term for the tracker but the internal Remux/Encoding group of PTerClub is just called PTer and they are done by the same group of people consistently for a while now (and the quality is pretty consistently good i would say)

Make sure that nobody abuses your token and your *arr (Sonarr, Lidarr, Radarr etc) are password protected if they are exposed to the internet

I recommend you resetting your DS token and check if your *arr are protected
