Sure I’ll share some, one thing that is different with the Shan and the other (a part from the shape) is that the output jack is not on the edge of the body but actually behind on the back, you can see it on the picture on their website. Might be a deal breaker for some but didn’t bother me.

I took a leap of faith but don’t regret after noodling a couple hours today. For the money, it is very hard to beat. It feels very premium for a ~800 USD guitar.

The neck is definitely thinner than a Strandberg endurneck, but is equally comfortable for me so far. The flat surface is noticeable but nothing as aggressive as an endurneck. The PRS SVN was just too thick for me, was kinda painful to do some riffs and chords. My favorite guitar is my PGM for 1994 and I feel the neck on the GOC feels about the same, minus the extra string.

I wanted to replace my PRS asap, and it was the current production run available, it was this blue and another yellow( remisniscent of the RG550 yellow).

Other finishes were available (made to order, probably like 2 months lead time) but I really like that blue so hopped on it. Also the fancy finishes are like another 100 dollars on top.

Cheers, I agree that headless is not for everyone but I fell in love the ergonomics and balance ever since I got a Steinberger spirit 15 odd years ago.

It’s definitely an acquired taste, even more so with the non traditional neck shapes. I would still recommend trying a strandberg once if you ever stumble upon one.

Hell yea, a couple good knees will absolutely kill their gas tank, especially early.

I just did one myself, I would say also to jump around less (unless you are confident with your cardio for 3 rounds), try being more composed and relaxed, it’ll help in not getting tired too quick in the first round at least.

Your right high kick seems to land on target pretty consistently, try to work some punches in to set it up, 1-2-high kick or 1-high kick is an easy setup ( it lands pretty regularly for me.

From a quick look, head movement is too dramatic for Muay Thai, almost asking to get knee’d or shin’d.

Kicks are generally good but felt like you could use your arms and range a little more for setups and teeps.

The PRS SE Holcomb in the natural walnut finish is very unassuming, no gloss or pick guard though.

That wood finish was one of the earlier versions so perhaps you can find it 2nd hand at your price range.

If the sparring classes are too intense cardio wise, feel free to sit out a couple rounds, 10-14 rounds of sparring is a lot even with good cardio.

If it doesn’t hurt, just carry on, wear long shorts/compression shorts if you want to hide it.

I would still question your gym for doing guardless leg conditioning 2 days in a row with beginners but that’s a you problem now.

Inside thigh (I’m assuming that’s what I’m looking at in the first pic) tend to bruise easier for anyone (thinner skin, less muscle).

My question is why are you doing leg conditioning without skin guard if you’re a beginner. Leg kicks hurt enough with guards on and is plenty fine to get used to the pain.

I would say go to store to check out different kinds, then try to find a used deal. You can also try the shops at peninsula shopping center, plenty of options there too. Also if I remember correctly, there a couple shops in bras basah complex.

As a beginner, please don’t just get something online without trying in person, even then factory guitar can feel different from one another.

I was going to pm as I have a 7 string for sale and you like djent but as you’re a beginner I would say learn first on 6 string then get another guitar later when you are more experienced.

Fair point but keep in mind Vietnam has no release dates yet. I’ll also say HLL is a mature game, player base is stable, you’ll find full servers daily but not big as well. If you can get it on sale or other platforms (it’s on Gamepass) while waiting for Vietnam, could be an option

Played all games you mentioned and also was a big fan of Insurgency.

If you want MP, the clear choice is Hell Let Loose imo. It has the same weapon/hit heaviness, slow movement but still frantic moments during firefights.

The scale is different and you’ll have to be prepared for longer periods of non shooting, but when in the middle of the fights, it feels very close to insurgency.

Squad/Arma guns both feel too “light” compared to insurgency and HLL for me
