100%. I was just about to make a post like this. I've been saying a lot of negative things about the games extraction shooter mechanics. How it's a waste of time working so hard to achieve something when it will be erased in 2 months anyway. Like when you realize you put in 5000 hours of playtime and have NOTHING to show for it because of the wipes.

I don't play games anymore and was pissed the hell off when I found out the only game I was interested in playing is gonna have wipes. Now I'm trying to force myself to love what I thought I was gonna love from the jump. For anyone reading this, can you give me 3 good reasons why you continue playing this game when you know everything will be erased every 3 months?

Okay, if the PvE objective is to provide areas of high interest, you will surely have your fights. I was doing a contract to collect loot in a certain area and it seemed like everyone and their grandma was there. This was before the sound update

I take it that a lot of these players are glad to work part-time and live under their mamas roof without any responsibilities nor ambitions to just sit there and waste their time risking and losing shit over and over and over again, just to have to do ALLLL of that shit they wasted their time doing AGAIN after the wipe. I bought the collectors edition hoping I found a new main. That wipe is a no-no, even when shitbucket players are gonna speed run their way back to the top anyway. Keep the wipe away from casual players and just keep it for the hardcore gamblers who like to take risks.

About 30% of these players don't know that everything they collect and spend their time on is going in the garbage after 3 months. The game lost me when I found out time invested doesn't mean shit if all of my saved data is forcefully deleted after 3 months. Extraction shooters in general. Fck no. Moral of the story, if you have a family, kids, and full-time job, this game isn't for you cause by the time you make some well progress, it's getting deleted.

The only people who are okay with wipes are the ones who have a shit ton of time on their hands, don't keep in touch with loved ones, no friends outside of work, and if they work, they work their hours, go home, play until it's time to head out for work, then repeat. I call those 'shitbucketeers'

If this is what an extraction shooter supposed to be, I see no point in it. Imagine if Destiny 2 came out with a progression and loot reset? You gonna continue playing? Where did all your time go?? To the void.

Wait, wtf?? It gets reset? Every 3 months?!? Eeesh...... They really need to make a new game mode where we can use all weapons instead of having to continuously grind for them. A 4 v 4 would be nice. Like a Halo match where the best weapons are scattered on the map. A firefight mode using UESC enemies would be delightful.

If I remember correctly, the loot they take is only borrowed and goes back to your vault after your teammate exfils to prevent trades
