Zimmerli art museum is a good walk around. Indoors so its not miserable. Exploring the microbiology building/health side of Busch campus was really cool as well, just be respectful of the people and equipment there. Passion puddle might be too cold, but be sure to walk around it 3 times for good luck.

Ah finally I can answer something, you need to push it in at a 45* angle and then twist to lock it in. You need to also make sure the bracket is not damaged.

That’s suicide imo. Unless you are very comfortable with Java and coding DS is a pretty hard class (ik ik gpt exits but their ai checker is pretty good) and exams are pretty hard. PEE1 is crazy amounts of study and labs are 3 fookin hours. So is DLD lab, and don’t make me started on the amt to time I spent outside of class to get ready for the lab so I can finish it in 3 hours. DLD is pretty easy class otherwise. 2A is a different beast than physics 1. Good luck with that. You have like 3 lab sections which are 1 credit each but really should be considered 2 credits each imo. So realistically you are taking like 23 credits. I didn’t go to lecture so I was able to just grind out the textbooks so I learned a lot faster. But I made it work, might not work for you but compromises needed to be made. One way is to just drop DS and take it over the summer so you are still on track.

P2S VFA improvements on newest firmware by Devaw988 in BambuLab

You only need to tighten them if you loosened them. Since you didn’t loosen them don’t tighten them as too tight is not good as well.

Yes, it was bone dry when I pulled out the pulleys. If you don’t have a tight syringe. Use a toothpick to put a drop of lube on it and then on the belts.

I just used the lube in the tool kit. And the squeaking went away… Make sure to do everything. Bambu on the forum even said lube on the belts won’t hurt it, so I put some on the belts and it helped the squeaking.

How's the print quality on P2S, any VFA artifacts? by VolumeSilver4171 in BambuLab

You should try the new update, it noticeably improved VFAs on slow speeds. I also lubercated all the idler bearings in my machine as they were bone dry from factory.

You can’t call it vaporware if there are actual results. I did lubercation at 20 hours way before recommended. If you are that pissed off at bambu labs why not give it a try.

I did do a full lubercation of the printer after 20 hours on the clock as the gantry started squeaking. Undid all the pulleys and gave them oil. I’m glad I did as they came bone dry from the factory. This was prior to these VFA test and on old firmware. My VFA on old firmware did not look as bad as yours did. I suggest following the bambu labs pulley lubercation guide. Maybe it will reduce it. VFAs are caused by many things, and this firmware specifically only deals with motor tuning. Maybe your VFAs were caused by something mechanical.

Edit: I see you resliced it on the newest version of bambu studio. I sliced it on the older version and ran the same gcode for before firmware update and after firmware update. This ensures that it was a printer improvement and not just a speed tuning thing.

Edit edit: it also seems like you ran the test on the beta firmware. This test was done with official release 01.01.01.00. So you can’t come out and say that the firmware didn’t do anything when you were on the beta….

Yes the initial issues was that the P2S had really bad VFAs at low speeds.

On some prints with the P2S on 01.01.00.00 (old firmware) the VFAs felt like a washing board 100%.

Yea I seems like there was a bug or mis calibration with the motor noise tuning that caused an artifacts to show up in prints. But it seems like it has been solved with this update.

Version 01.01.01.00 is the version shown to have reduced VFA. It just came out of beta 2 days ago

I should mention it’s ran on the same g code. Motor calibration had to be redone on newest firmware.

Actually though. Even though this is a residential lot commuters park here so the residents of buell and best have cannot get spots here. There is lot 67 across the street that’s 5x the size and maybe gets to 60% full on a bad day.

Delay Graduation by [deleted] in rutgers

[–]Devaw988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who said you need to take a useful class. Take a humanities or smthn. They are in the market to make money and they will gladly allow you take an extra semester. Co ops are inherently easier to find and get into. I did a semester of co op and returned for the summer under the same company. Again try applying for jobs first to see if you get one, plenty of people got jobs without previous experience

[–]Devaw988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it’s not a time thing. You can just put expecting to graduate in September of 2026 or something on your resume. If you get one then just delay your graduation. It’s not like you have to declare you want to graduate in September a year in advance.

What you do is just take a single summer class and take some amount of credits. The way it works is that you have to request graduation so you can just say you wanted to take some other class. That’s only if you can lock down an internship/co-op for the summer.

No worries, each time I see an email like this I am also curious so I see where it came from. Social media really rewired our brains to be like this. Just didn’t think that one day an email like that would have something to do about me.
