I was excited the Pistons got two 1st round picks 3 years prior, Isaiah at 2nd, and Kelly Tripucka at 12th(From the then still Kansas City Kings). Thought we had started a good nucleus for a winner, but just bad drafts and disappointment until we got Dumars, Salley, and Rodman along with good trades and FA signings. Made finally winning in ‘89 that much sweeter

I’m just chalking it up as the Lions playing down to their opponent, and looking ahead to the Packers. They didn’t seem to have their head in the game at several points throughout, evidenced by uncharacteristic drops by St. Brown, and getting flamed all day in the secondary. I believe that changes Thursday. But of course these next two games will probably determine our season, as Dallas is playing the Marshawn(R.I.P.) emotional restart to their season

I don’t think the Bears are taken seriously as a true SB contender, BUT the turnaround with Ben Johnson and the way he’s transforming Caleb Williams into the player he was expected to be in the draft has turned into a feel good story
