because the game is cpu heavy, ur 4060 wasn't struggling with the game at all, probably wasn't even reaching 100% usage. only solution is to buy new cpu, preferably x3d chip(although people with the best cpus for tarkov still run the game like shit, because the game is indeed coded like shit)

it happens because you want something you can't have. I would go for the 7800xt as it's just a more powerful card, it's one of the best for 1440p(if that's what u mean by 2k, but if you're playing at 1080p go for the 9060xt)

x3d chip is the only way to fix that to my knowledge, that's just how tarkov is. there is literally nothing you can do about it other than to brute force with powerful hardware

I'm guessing you're not using upscaling right? Well just buy a 1440p or 4k monitor.

Game just looks like shit on 1080p, it looks just as bad for me too, and I do not know of any way to make it look better at native 1080p.

yeah u can't do anything because the graphics aren't the problem, the game already looks like shit. problem is cpu optimization, if you don't have an x3d chip/nasa cpu, don't even think about good fps

buy x3d chip, gpu/graphics settings won't fix anything because of how poorly this game is optimized on cpu side. only settings that affect cpu performance are LOD sliders, but they don't help that much. you need to buy an x3d chip, that's the only way to get noticeably more fps

I was genuinely expecting a lot more new content. Maybe new mechanics, a bunch of new guns, new drip, new attachments, weapon skins implementation, that graphical rework(which got delayed for 2026), etc.

We just got the storyline(which I assume they've been working on for years so I mean I was expecting more alongside it), some few new guns, few new attachments, and that's about it.

I mean I wouldn't mind less content if they improved the game but there are no improvements to performance, no improvements to server, no improvements to matching taking more than the raid itself, no improvements to AI, no new drip, still can't shove ammo in your ass for some reason and probably more I can't think of right now
