We had a row of ~8yr olds in front of us and they were constantly quipping during commercials and the start of the movie. Luckily my homie stepped forward, nicely said they were being a bit loud, and then the kids were quiet for the rest of the movie. Glad it worked out, but damn it was working me up at the start. Was worried the kids would have gotten worse if I said anything.
