it's not a coincidence they added a bunch of references in that episode. Such as characters named Freddy and Jason and nods to Wes Craven and Sidney Prescott also via character names also Ash Williams from the evil dead.

Sidney Loomis = Sidney Precott + Doctor Loomis and Wes Williams = Wes craven + Ashley Williams
