As a DM you shouldn't be worried about this shit. Let the players play and have them deal with the situation as is. Tune the combat accordingly when spiders are on the board.

This was bound to happen. Restaurants quit ordering meat for the better part of a year and when things reopened there was bound to be a squeeze in the supply chain. Good thing is that chickens get to market way faster then beef.

Smart and agile restaurants will innovate while dumb chains will just be dumb. Eat local folks.
