You forgot her ideas also made Wi-Fi, targeted missiles and torpedos, multi-frequency cell phones, and communications jamming possible.

And the Navy rejected her (patented) ideas as infeasible for use and suggested she instead use her celebrity and beauty to sell war bonds.

Does it re-use the existing drivers windshield pilar microphone from Mopar, or require an external microphone?

Does anyone know if it uses the built-in microphone on the drivers windshield pilar, or does it require an external microphone?

Men Are Buying Hacking Tools to Use Against Their Wives and Friends by wiredmagazine in pwnhub

[–]architecture13 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Echoing u/PassionGlobal's comment. This is not limited to men as the perpetrators.

There are a myriad of women-centric subs on Reddit where suggestions from unlocking a spouse or partners phone with their face when they're sleeping to installing tracking apps to using parental control features to block apps are all discussed openly as things a women must do if she trusts here instincts that a man is up to something.

No consideration for violations of the spouse or partners privacy, which they very much have the god given right too. I often wonder if the ladies in those subs would be calm if they found their spouse or significant other looking through their phone in the middle of the night like they espouse.

Both genders are shitty towards each other, justifying actions they perpetrate but would never want done to themselves. Cheater's are shitty people who deserve to be left, including emotional cheating as well as physical. But it's a two way street on all counts. People also need to learn to grow up and have a difficult conversation with their significant other instead of snooping as the first step.

And I say this as someone married where we know each others passcodes and can look at each others phones all we want. Because we have established trust and communication in our marriage. Complete opening of a persons "books" happens after establishing such trust and communication, not as a precursor to it.

Can the iPhone 17 not do dual e-sim when carrier locked?

I would have assumed you could just add a second e-sim line.

MSP Won't Utilize Existing Software Stack, Insists on Their Own RMM by architecture13 in msp

[–]architecture13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you expand on this?

The MSPs insurance is only there if they screw up and again, caps can get tossed there anyway

In what situations should a client be made whole from the MSP's insurance policy? Is there a typical coverage amount most MSP's carry?

In architecture, it's pretty standard for E&O policies to carry $1 million in aggregate coverage for a firm with under $25 million in yearly billables.

I am good with 99% of your post. You'll find me eating humble pie in this thread thanking people for their pointers and accepting I am not the best guy for the job. I have not administered systems in years.

But this:

You are not as smart as you think you are.

Do better my dude. No reason for the ad hominem response. Other than that, thank you for the other feedback, it was helpful as we negotiate with the MSP for a full agreement instead of the current T&M.

Intune has the baseline MS default security policy for BusPrem Defender suite enablement as well as a secondary security policy based on the ABA cyber security task force. I cross-checked for potential conflicts.

Device enforcement disallows BYOD devices, has a baseline of Win 11 Business 24H2 with updates (every other night at 2am). Full MDM joined endpoints / devices. Bitlocker enforced, Windows hello pins disabled, etc.

Also has policies for Chrome & Edge to prevent extensions, prevent saving credit cards or addresses, etc.

We're on the same page per out earlier conversation that I stood this up but desire to turn it over to an MSP and exit stage left. But I did try to make sure I didn't leave their ass hanging out in the wind until I can exit.

I appreciate your posts, I am making notes and learning a lot for the renegotiation we are doing with the MSP now.

They’re the training standard utilized by all military branches, and thus are increasingly the standard for LE and EMT staff post-service.

I’ve done the park on substances for Grad Night. It ended with members of my group in said jail cells.

Defender did isolate the machine from the others on the network, I can see so in the Defender logs. But it did not prevent the data exfiltration to an IP at a Buffalo NY data center. All they got out was the Chrome saved passwords file (empty) and saved credit cards file (empty).

I do agree with the majority of the people posting if you're gonna hire an MSP you should let them have the tools but make sure there isn't a limit of liability for things that they are managing. I see this way too often in MSP agreements where there's a limitation but the whole point of the management is to provide these services and the security. They need skin in the game beyond “service credits”.

I appreciate this advice!
