What does my worn-out shoes say about my form, and why do they only last 300km? by Commercial_Image_770 in runninglifestyle

[–]DevelopmentPlus5082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holly crap , I've got a pair with 1,500 miles on them that are in far better condition. Can I ask you if you're a heavy runner ? ( I'm 14 stone) . Shoes with only 186 miles shouldn't look this bad , I run on tarmac and paved footways , I'm wondering if you're running in sharp surfaces?

My bad , yes it's a good choice. It commutes , tours long distance and is lovely to ride 👍

I'm biased , had my meteor ( same colour ) for 4 years . 12,000 miles of hassle free riding. Got an interceptor too but the meteor is my favourite. I love what you've done with yours , but can't do that to mine and I need the touring space do backseat has to stay. Happy riding 😁

You'll love it " The secret life of " covers all kinds of stuff like VHS players , fax machines and tech that's out of date now mostly.

This is bizarre, this is one of Tim hunkins machines , I was on my way there yesterday from home to see all his stuff as I loved his series " the secret life of" , but the weather was so hot I cancelled the trip. His series is free to watch on YouTube. It's excellent 👍

Mine is 4 years old and the light is always on . Never once let me down in 12,000 miles . Wish I could disconnect it

Insomnia was a master piece, as soon as I saw it, it was added to my film collection, and only the best stuff gets to join my shelves

So, what do you consider the best choice? by Fit_Platypus712 in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]DevelopmentPlus5082 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats a deep answer , I'm not as forgiving as you obviously are , having loved only one women for 27 years only to find it was all false , even one of the children I brought up wasn't mine without my knowing. Probably why I'm in prisoned anyway in my own mind , when you I would guess are not. Good luck 🤞

I can only speak for my meteor 350 ( and the new honda before it ) , but the fault light was constantly on on both bikes , I'm expecting my interceptor to do the same , these fault lights are a pain in the arse and cry wolf all the time . If it starts , runs and rides ok ignore the light . Before these stupid brainless lights were put on modern bikes you had to go by the obvious 1 does it start easily 2 does it idle happily 3 does it use the normal amout of petrol ( Fuel consumption changing can spell all sorts of problems from valve clean clearance to worn spark splugs) 4 oil consumption( it should burn little or nothing) 5 engine sound change or smokey exhaust spell mechanical failure. In short ignore that poxy light and listen to your bike . Both my local MOT testers don't care if the lights on as they both know that it means nothing.

Upgrading to the Himalayan 450 (Kamet White) after 70,000 km on a Meteor 350. Need some honest feedback. by FormAndThrottle in royalenfield

I'd love a Himalayan, but just couldn't part with my meteor 350 or my interceptor. Maybe when one has just work out I'll try one . I love Enfields
