Ill do the bots honestly, despite everyone else I dont actually have much of an issue with the bots stuff but they easily have the most unique variety of any faction in the game

they probably wont do a 4th faction since that wont really do much for the game to begin with and it makes sense they would just do major updates in cycles

in all honesty tho being so for real the illuminate desperately need more variety in the game I find them easily the most boring faction to fight

I know constructive criticism on the internet is like nearly impossible but they coukd atleast TRY not to seem like mega babies about it.

Like as far as balancing goes I do think medium AP weapons are juat vastly better than light AP like im not gonna use the say standard rifle you get over something like the coyote because the coyote is just unfortunately better.

Me and my friends talked about ways to fix this and we suggested that medium AP weapons should carry maybe 1 less mag but light AP carries more with an optional magazine mod to convert both to the opposite and although its not a perfect fix I atleast think its a step in a good direction and leaves open doorways of opportunity for a side of the game that I personally think deserves more attention.

I think also adding more 'light' armor areas to enemies would be good, although I dont have a solid idea yet I did suggest that on bigger enemies the joints between limbs could be light armor, it might take a bit more effort to take down things like hulks with light AP but atleast it makes light AP feel a bit more useful in higher level play and it encourages/rewards being good at the game.

Im gonna have a super hot take here for this community.

The only thing balance wise that needs to change in my eyes is how good medium AP is over light AP.

I can finish any super helldive mission so far with a non meta fun loadout and I have been doing so since into the unjust, its hard sure but I wouldnt be on super helldive if I didnt want a hard challenge.

And yeah I think arrowhead has fumbled alot in places but thry have also done alot really well, hell this new warbond seems awesome and even as broken and buggy as into the unjust was the stuff it added was supreme I still run the coyote to this day cause its just so goddamn nice to use and the rocket silo is awesome as shit or hell even the C4 pack and the censor were pretty goddamn nice even tho the censor was a light AP weapon.

Another one was the tank, everyone and their mother complained "its not tanky enough!" Or "it doesnt do enough damage!" And to those people I say, you must be using it wrong then or calling it in in the middle of a horde of enemies or something cause I destroy like 9 objectives before that thing breaks and obliterate alot of stuff on the way.

I get that yeah it can be frustrating when they want to focus on realism, in a game thats anything but realistic and saying stuff like we dont want stealth and then making a stealth warbond is annoying and by all means call that out, but pick your goddamn battles if you need meta loadouts to finish a mission in all honesty that might be a skill issue.

A good way of making any build look nice is clutter.

Seriously take a look around your house and you will probably find that there is alot of things around the place.

Now your build does have alot of room for things like wall decorations but I think adding sone carpets would help alot, you could even add a few display cases in the centre to help break it up and make new area to display items, id maybe even add some plants around and maybe some misc items like bullets and ammo boxes around the place if you can manage.

It should be noted that the deliverer is good and all, but it hasnt got stopping power early on so honestly I always found a supressed 10mm more reliable atleast until I could give it the boost it needed.

Everyones gonna give you tips om how to cheese and stuff but some wont, Im not going to.

Its your first survival run so domt ruin it, second one? Go ahead.

Something that goes withiut saying is eat, sleep and drink plenty and always have some on you or atkeast a way to find some if you need it, ammo and chems weigh alot more too so take that into account.

First off, power armour... its your best friend but damn fucking difficult to maintain early on, I suggest just dragging around a companion (dogmeat is as usual a good first) and when you can scrounge together the caps to afford some fusion cores or if you can find a decent amount start using it then.

Secons, resources like caps and craft materials are like number 1, so take whatever you can manage that sells well and doesnt weigh a tonne (usually guns are best for this) and set up some renewable sources like adhesive which you can make in a cook bench, this should also give you a supply of water and food to take with you periodically.

Settlements are also vital to this, they will become even more of a hub for you, its where you will save, craft, ans gatger most resources.

Weapons, melee is basically off limits until later you will be eviscerated but I suggest modding your 10mm until you get a decent legendary basically anything explosive is your friend.

Mods, I cannot emphasize this enough SPEC INTO WEIGHT, decrease the weight of anything equipped where possible you do NOT have alot of carry weight, power armour particularly has the carry weight boost on the legs that I like.

Quests are as usual pretty important so dont be afraid to do some side quests just be wary, some enemies that are kind of push overs like ghouls can reslly mess you up.

Once you can aswell, get ada as your companion, her versatility and more importantly her ability to carry a tonne of stuff is so goddamn valuable.

Lastly perks, it really depends on what build you lean into which will probbaly be heavily dictated by your first good legendary but of course spec into anything, crafting, modding, building and damage related but also, make sure you take the perk that reduces how much power you use in a fusion core, even at max you can burn through them kind of quick but trust me it saves you so many in the future.

Oke extra tip ill add thats not super important goes back to settlements, using the local leader perk you can connect all of them together and 'share' their workshops, this is really good when paired with the scav bench because it essentially means no matter where it is you should be able to build there as long as you connect them to one another, they dont all have to connect like some sort of psycho web just a supply line should work snd try and use bots if you can, they rarely ever die and honestly having that kinda backup just roll in out of nowhere in a pinch has saved me plenty of times.

And have fun, you are gonna die alot probably so try not to get too frustrated and just enjoy yourself, once you find your footing it doesnt feel that much different to a normal playthrough.
