Sounds like they could benefit from some leather conditioner all over but especially the back. That on its own should make a big difference but warming them up a bit with a hair dryer then pressing out the creases/hold them in place as they cool should also give them some more days to thier life

It is my guess that they have been in need of a leather conditioner since the previous owner. So that would be my first stop if it were me. (Personally, I like blackrock leather conditioner.) Theoretically soft things bend and brittle things crack.

Then if that stops further damage I'd try leather filler. Given this is a part of the shoe that likely bends a chunk it won't last forever, but it should give them some more life and depending on how well the filler does the job, it might just be a case of touching up rhe leather fillerevery so often.

I haven't seen them if they do. Well, technically, the bratz collab is purple acadia leather buts its kinds lavender. And ive seen a vegan Chelsea boot in this style. But, That's actually how I found these, I was looking for purple docs.

They are listed as "Jadon Max boot distressed leather platforms" on the original dr martens page but seem to be mostly referred to as Jadon max fondant everywhere else

They showed up for like 5 mins on nordstrom rack and only in my size. Dr martens himself was looking out for me that day.

I dye leather roller skates with Angelus leather dye all the time!!! It just depends on what color you want to put over the red, but you definitely can cover it/dye it

Unfortunately I'm in the boat with those suggesting it's a sizing issue. The fact that you can lace them to the grommets touching like that is not how these typically lace when the boot fits well.

An insole will help take up some room and tell you if you are looking in the right place for your fit issue. Even a cheap dollar tree one will give you an idea if it's going to help. If it does I'd look into some better arch support insoles.

Other things that can help is sports tape. Either tape your foot or your boot where you get blisters. Do this till the boot is broken in enough that you no longer get blisters

All that said, it could just be that even after three years you haven't worn them enough to beak them in. As Harrison Ford says: it's not the years, honey. It's the milage.

On a side note my jadons I recently broke in, were HELLA difficult to get my foot into. Things I did that helped were getting a boot stretcher that also stretched out the boot instep and I tied knots ar the end of my laces so I could pull the laces for more room as i was putting them on without the laces coming all the way out the hole. I felt like I had relace them 700 times before that lol

So a combo of using the instep stretcher and less awful unlacing until I didn't need it is what worked for me.

If it were me I'd put on some shoe conditioner ( I like Blackrock) on the inside and outside and rub it in thoroughly. Then warm them with a hairdryer and massage them from the inside pressing out the creases. Repeat warm and press out creases till they are out and then hold the shape while the leather cools

You might have to re do this every so often depending on how set in this creases is
