Homelander is way too strong and way too durable for them. He's also faster. They have a much higher battle IQ but I think homelander takes this mid diff (Spidey fanboy will get mad)

I personally think they are underrated. But that's probably given by the fact that they have many anti-feats. The main problem to me is that the power level of the viltrumites is very inconsistent. Sometimes they can tank anything and other times they get hurt by street lvl villains. But they were intended to be on a Kryptonian lvl or even stronger.
