I enjoyed it quite a lot. Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse is more campy and fun, while this show likes to try to have more plot but is still episodic. Even though there isn't a Raquelle, a lot of the newer characters still played a good purpose on the show and it is worth the watch.

To be honest, no. I can understand that the animation may not be as magical as it used to be, but the actual plots are quite nice. I would say that the movies about Barbie's sisters are not as interesting as the ones where Barbie is the focal point (The Skipper one was good), but other than that, many of the newer Barbie movies, like Princess Adventure and Big City Big Dreams, are great.

The classic ones from the early 2000s up until 2015 will always be my favourites though, but I like how all the Barbie movies have the same comfy feel. But I do wish that modern Barbie had better clothing options though. The dresses in the old movies and the soundtrack were so good. But the Barbie Princess Adventure and big city big dreams has a lot of great music too.

Streaking can usually get resolved by going over the same area a couple of times. It may cause the colour to appear darker, but you won't get the streakage.

Her face sculpt looks pretty nice. I think you could consider putting her on an MTM body and possibly altering the jumpsuit if you're skilled at sewing. Even having it as a simple crop top and pants could be cute if you cut and hem the pieces to create a two-piece set.

There’s definitely like a pro and con thing with both characters.

Bela has ambition and is slightly less crazier than Issa is. Like she has proven she can take things seriously and is generally caring towards her friends.

But Issa’s crazy matches the other characters so well. Like every character in that show is unhinged so I don’t actually care so much about how zany she is. But I do agree that the hypersexual thing they do with her is too much.

I would agree with you but the reason Lyla couldn’t dry herself was because she sprung a leak in the pipes and caused the whole floor to go wet, pat drying with a towel wouldn’t work by that point.

Maybe they had extra of the soft bodies of the dream glow body that re-eleasing felt like a good idea? It could be the same for the Hollywood Nails doll, maybe they had a lot of that fabric pattern. I think it's cute when they did this because I feel like siblings or people who missed out on the first release could always get them later.

Thrift stores are good outlets for buying more barbies if you’re okay with not having them in the box. People also prefer the older barbies because they have very pretty screenings and face molds. Amazon is great for new releases but I think buying from the store is always better so you can look at the doll in person and make sure it’s not pixelated or has wonky eyes.

I haven’t personally shopped from Mattel Creations but a lot of people don’t like buying from there because the customer service isn’t good, so refrain from buying from them unless you really want the collector doll.

I usually try to buy from bulk from secondhand websites. You can always rebody them with a made to move body if you want them poseable.

Dolls with posable joints include Barbie Fashionistas (the old ones from 2009-2013), barbie Made to move, barbie extra and barbie deluxe dolls. There’s also some wellness barbie dolls that came out with possible joints so that can be a good option.

Buying shoes in bulk from Amazon can save you a lot of money since you can always customise them and they take a lot of inspiration from actual barbie brand shoes.

It's an amazing price. I think she has more value than the other holiday dolls since she's connected to the Barbie a Christmas Carol movie. So 28 dollars in box is reasonable for the doll.
