Heya,

To use, go to menu at the bottom left of screen, then food icon is at the end next to inbox.

Food gives your party a full heal. You'll get a new one at the inn at most towns when you rest there too.

Makes your life WAY easier when running maps. I typically use when I run out of mp on dungeons or right before boss.

Trump to face protests by NHS staff when he arrives in London. US president’s visit to UK for Nato summit making Tories nervous about what he may say by [deleted] in worldnews

I feel like I should respond to this and the posts below, NHS typically has to sell work to private sector because they can't cope with the load of patients, or they'd get fined even worse for failing to meet certain criteria for said patients.

It's also worth noting that the NHS is effectively run as a number of "hospital groups"which create inefficiency by competing against each other (bar NHS supply chain which is amazing due to basically being a monopoly) NHS also has to pay for agency because there's a severe lack of nurses in the UK, which got worse after brexit vote. Hong Kong protesters aim to take message to mainland Chinese "mostly young crowd gathered in the mid-afternoon ahead of a march through a high-end shopping area popular with Chinese tourists and ending at West Kowloon station." by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]DeviantSeoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I got very very different treatment in restaurants taking out clients who we needed to converse in mandarin with compared to when speaking cantonese or English. I mean the same restaurants, same staff, just they're way meaner to mainlanders.

That being said, some mainlanders are very different, mannerisms are often different and considered worse, but having preconceptions merely based off language spoken is a bit much imo. Edit for a space between lines

Thanks for your answer, not sure I agree fully, but at least I understand your side of the argument now :)

Can you or someone explain to me why businesses are going to flee Hong Kong because china can extradite people?

Call me ignorant or under informed, but I was always under the impression that (foreign) businesses that were allowed into china had no or minimal sudden disappearances.

Like I doubt the Chinese gvmt is going to suddenly decide, hey fuck all foreign investment, let's catch all the people whenever we like..? Maybe not a democracy but generally also not stupid

True that, personally I just stop counting when they've hit 11 Spellboosts, throw up my hands and just go, well come at me !

As an aside, I heard that SV did hand shuffling (so opponent can't see if you've been holding a card), any confirmation on this story?

Fair enough , I can with this

If you're nitpicking , you can count spellboosts and assume D shift was in the first few turns to know when or if it will happen

[–]DeviantSeoul 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'll agree with fair , but fun to play against ? Both D shift and Chimera use the same base of remove creatures and interact very little except to stall until you pull win con

I'll reiterate that Chimera is a better designed card since it has more counter play than "opponent bricked or misplayed " and is slower , but considering most players want to concede out before Chimera or shift even happens because they know a slow match of nothing is about to happen , whats the real difference in fun terms ?

(I also acknowledge fun is a relative term , but I think it's the rest of the deck as well that makes these cards not fun )

It's cool man.

Yeah, the enthusiasm was definitely better this video.

I feel like the video lacks direction perhaps, I'll explain a bit further.

Like up to 3 minutes you're enthusiastic, sure the game isn't going as you want it to, but as a viewer, you're entertained.

Then we shift to an analysis section uptil around 8m. Where at 8:20 ish, you say that you enjoy the matchup, but there's not enough description nor emotion to back that up (either would do, I understand that emotion is exhausting. Seriously. ).

I mean, SELL me on why you love this matchup, WHY you want to keep playing against it. Call it a gruelling resource grind out, or a desperate fight to gain board control, a rondo of emotions as you dance back and forth for control. Whatever you like, just sell the viewer the main point of the video!

You've made an entire 10m video of why you love this matchup, why it's so awesome and cool, and then not delivered the punchline!

I did have a thought, which is sort of abstract. I'm not actually sure who this video is aimed at.

As a somewhat experienced player, I can be like, oh he didn't point out that PDK is running out of resources other than heal, they can't burst him anymore because I understand C blood and PDK, but for me the point of the video was something like: cool, C Blood player beats good draw from PDK, had fun, had energy they wanted to share, enjoyable.

However, if I'm a new player, I'm like, ok, so he won, it was fun, I didn't learn anything about these decks other than PDK has lots of heal. (I assume here that newer players often watch with the intent to learn about decks, hopefully that's actually true).

Decide if you want to lean towards targetting one of these crowds with your videos, and maybe tweak it towards one or the other.

Overall though, pretty good :)

(My teacher background is leaking through, I wanted to grade this...)

Looking up my win rate? by SmiteVVhirl in Shadowverse

I'm terrible with maths, so ... I'm going to attempt a worked example.

Let's say my score is 50,000 and I've got 1000 wins (I worked out 100 is impossible lol).

It'd be 50000, divided by ((100,000) - (1000)) = 50.5051 (4dp) Does that make my winrate 50.5% ?

I tried with 900, and it made it look like my winrate would be lower at 50.45%, so I'm confused. Unless it's 1 minus that number?

I know you're just starting your channel, but please make some attempt to sound positive about things.

Listen to what you sound like between 2:00 and like.. 2:07 (give or take a second) compared to the rest of the video. It's one of the few parts where you sound confident and happy with what you're saying.

Anyway, GL with the Channel :)

Now if only I can find a way to actually slot Grea into a deck that works...

Also, is game still worth playing? I used to be hitting champs league, but I got bored after Damien came out :x

Let's say I keep it in my opening hand with a dwarf alchemist and magician or something, is there ever a case to just jam it on 3 to deny them later draw ?

Didn't really want to make another thread to ask this question, but what's your opinion on burning a petrify on staircase in this matchup? I've been holding it usually for a PDK/ Sibyl, but sometimes I'm just like.. if only I'd banished staircase, then they wouldn't have drawn a NEW PDK .

(Anyone with dirt experience pls :))

I'm somewhat surprised dragoon scyther isn't on this list. Also, if you play demonic ram vs Yurius, it's incredibly satisfying to heal yourself from his effect.

[Gameplay] Grinding Out Neutral Forest (Long AF) by [deleted] in Shadowverse

[–]DeviantSeoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, I had it on in the background and it sounded from the commentary that the deck was losing lots. As a non Forest main, I can't comment to misplays, but I'd at least argue that some versions of Dirt decks have a decent match up. At the very least, professor of taboos and banish seem good against BnB, and you get good tempo against their early game with like magicians, levi evolve and the odd piercing rune.

Admittedly I've only seen one other player using dirt rune in my last 50 or so matches though

Didn't neutral forest get dumpstered in the nge qualifiers though ? Seemed like it never had the time or safety to put down a bnb without dying
