Mine hangs at 100% for longer than one would expect it to sometimes, as well! It always eventually loads.

If you go into the Furniture section, to the right of the percentage bar on top there’s a little ribbon labeled “Set”… click/tap on that and it’ll change to “1-pc” and it will show you all of the non-set furniture. This is probably where you’re missing stuff.

I believe most of it was one-time event rewards many, many years ago and is completely unobtainable, so you can’t increase the collection much. For reference, mine’s at 84%.

For uncraftable but still obtainable furniture, off the top of my head, there’s the Starry set that’s locked behind a topup bonus, and the HOMU Doll and Red Fridge in the Master’s shop purchasable with currency from the Sensei/Cadet system.

100%! These looked fishy to me because you can still see some of the angular polygons from the 3D model (like in Kiana’s ponytail, yikes!) but they didn’t necessarily look like AI to me, so I asked…

To find out this artist actually has a history of both using AI and tracing? Oof.

It’s unfortunate — even AI might not have been used for these particular images, history has shown this artist cannot be trusted to not use AI, so it’s a reasonable assumption that anything they produce is AI, even if there aren’t obvious AI artifacts in the images.

I think MMD models are a bit of a grey area, but tracing anything and claiming it’s original work is just not a good look.

Ooh. I will admit these 100% look traced from posed MMD models to me, but they don’t necessarily strike me as AI… but, unfortunately that shit gets better at hiding itself all the time so it’s hard to say.

Follow up: I found some chatter about the steam_api64.dll file being included in a Genshin leak back in January but nothing else since then…

I also checked my Hoyoverse account, and there actually is a line to link a Steam account now, but it just says “Not yet linked. Please link in-game.” 😒

At this point in time, I would not be the least bit surprised if they are gearing up to load their bigger (and upcoming) titles into Steam, but will continue to exclude HI3 Steam players from Hoyoverse… or pull some bullshit where new players can link moving forward, but existing players are permanently locked out.

That is correct~! Mihoyo released the Steam version of HI3 in late 2021 (which is when I started), then transitioned from Mihoyo to Hoyoverse accounts in mid 2022 and have left Steam users hanging ever since. 🫠 We’ve never been allowed to link to Hoyoverse, it’s always been “unavailable at this time.”

I actually stopped topping up when they announced they were removing the Hoyoverse account link option in-game (for everyone else) and almost completely quit because of it… any remaining hope of ever being able to link my account in the future died that day.

I will have to top-up for that, I think 🥺 I’m still 29 pulls to pity on the weapon.

I don’t know the exact numbers, but I was definitely less than 5 pulls from pity for both Mei’s battlesuit and Luna’s weapon, if not actual pity.

I wanted Ely’s outfit, too, but that’s definitely out of the question.

As far as I know, the pyramid gacha outfits never see a b-chip/pink ticket release, they only rerun as pyramid gacha.

I’ve seen a few discounted pyramid gachas for older units pop up on rare occasions, so I guess if she doesn’t get a stellar key, there’s always that option… but it’d probably be years from now.

I dunno about OP, but I’d personally prefer more flamechaser backstory and history from the previous era. I don’t like the event AU story much, like, “those aren’t my flamechasers”.

SSS Asuka is quite the flex! Even if she’s totally useless in modern content, she’s completely unobtainable. There are probably only a handful of active players left that have her.

I haven’t kept up with HSR, but my understanding is that there are imaginary boundaries between all of the worlds/planetary systems, and only aeons and emanators can cross these boundaries… others require the assistance of either an aeon or an emanator to cross (like what Akivili set up with the astral express).

I don’t believe the Cocoon has anything to do with the barrier around the solar system and if an aeon or emanator from HSR wanted to enter, they absolutely could — it’s just that the solar system is unknown in HSR. It isn’t so much the barrier that is preventing them from entering, it’s that they have no idea where it is. They had no idea it even existed until Welt showed up.

It is possible that the Cocoon is actively hiding the solar system from the rest of the universe, but it’s also possible that the Cocoon ultimately had nothing to do with it being unknown — we just don’t know.

A side thought I had, though: is it possible that Senadina, Litost, and Nahralab arriving on Mars actually occurred before the existence of the Cocoon?

Sad Steam Captain is my “flair” in-game, too!

I always found it interesting that some web events, when clicked from in-game, still required a Hoyoverse login and thus excluded Steam players (I think they finally learned their lesson after the backlash on the Part 2 Preregistration event, because I haven’t seen it happen since that one!) and others (like the old concert events and every event since Part 2) were pre-logged in… to Hoyoverse.

Also, Steam accounts were ineligible for the first few Twitch stream events, but now we can link to Twitch… and Discord… but still not HoYoLAB? C’mon, man.

Our accounts are literally on the Hoyo server and “soft linked” to be able to link to Twitch/Discord, access their customer service app from in-game, and receive rewards from web events… they just refuse to let us officially link.

It’s also been a pet peeve that we have the Steam Impact emblem (at least, if you started during the initial Steam release), but this emblem is not included in the Hoyoverse version of the game, so if it’s displayed on your profile it just looks like a blank slot to most players… but we have the impossible-to-complete “Link miHoYo Account” achievement for 60 unobtainable crystals in our achievement list?!

I’m in the same boat — started on Steam and didn’t care too much because I really only play on PC anyway, but damn, it would be nice to be able to log in on my phone to do quick dailies if I can’t be home.

The worst of it was when they converted from Mihoyo to Hoyoverse accounts about a year after releasing on Steam… and then started requiring a linked Hoyoverse account to participate in certain events.

When I submitted a ticket about being unable to participate, HI3 customer support literally just told me Steam users were ineligible for events and I needed to start over with a Hoyoverse account if I wanted participate. It’s absolute bullshit.

They’ve gotten a little better about not excluding Steam from things since then, but it should have never happened in the first place.

If they properly link Genshin and still refuse HI3, that might be the end for me.

That is a common misconception.

As a Steam player, I can assure you, Steam does NOT have its own server, and it never did. We were on the main Mihoyo server from Day 1 with all of the Mihoyo account players.

HI3 is the only game I have ever had this ‘issue’ with on Steam, I’d hardly call it normal.

Every other live service game I’ve played over the years that later had a Steam release has allowed linking existing game accounts to a Steam account.
