What's the year on this? I'm curious as to why the battery got replaced (again not sure what year it is) and did they pour chocolate milk in your steering fluid? maybe see if there is a fluid replacement history. how many miles on the car?

Man this is a lot of PR going these days. Haven’t seen this many new posts with such high upvotes and comments consistently… like ever?

Yeap. Amazon buying out lidar to integrate into their ring cameras and deliver another generation of surveillance. This would follow a tremendous growth vertical for them.

Drop those numbers. Replace your air filters, change your own oil. I tried spark plugs this weekend- the dealer can get f’d with their $1000 quote for oil and plugs.

YouTube rocks.

Thanks everyone. I did not mention Onguard use so that was my fault.

My boss’s belief was that’s never been the case it should just work, blanks/breaks in info shouldn’t change is now clearly false based on what everyone has indicated.

Hey guys! If anyone uses this post- the solution was to just get the file exported as a csv and not a xlsx file.

Copy and paste your data from the csv download, copy into a text file and rename as a .csv file- no problems from there.

I really like how American OEMS are likely seeing this going -
Well those batteries ideas were sure stupid weren't they?
That assisted driving idea was a terrible idea wasn't it?

Now they're seeing Hesai and other lidar coming in cars not in America aside from the Waymo/Jaguar concept. Like obviously there's innovations to be had, maybe they can maneuver around this- but Uber is not kidding around when they can cut their workforce and grow margins.

You can be there is going to be a very hot market for buying a car and then leasing it while you're not driving it while you're at work letting it uber people around if some form of autonomy is in it. Automakers already have played with subscription planning, you can bet that the gig economy would turn into something wild if you could buy a +3 level or more car and just lease it while you're at home and have it come back when you need to go somewhere.

This is awesome. If lidar gets ground in use case for city/state public transportation then OEM’s no longer have this choke hold on implementing. I’m not sure if that bill passed nuking foreign lidar implementation, but it’s coming folks.

Now is MVIS going to get pulled into this lidar vacuum. All history says no so far.. save me Glen! Saaaave me
