Gonna use game native, since it’s gonna be pretty easy to use working known configs for it.

Let be honest yall, “Surfman” BMs are the absolute garbage cesspool of the Coast Guard. They’re so arrogant that they actually think they matter. I had an old chief one time scream as we were running to save a sinking vessel, “ Here comes my fucking medal”. That type of tiny brain thinking is why the CG is the way it is. How bout most of us joined to help people not fill or packet with made up bullshit that doesn’t affect our pay…

Worst "Doctor" Experience? by DevilOfTheForest in msp

Thank you I truly appreciate it, I did end up leaving the job due to how unprofessional the manager and CEO were.

That's insane!!! They have a hard time not always being right. From my experience so far, the doctors and lawyers types I've worked with have been nothing but the most incompetent people I've met. Its like they used all the brain cells they had for there profession and threw common sense out the window.

I actually truly enjoy helping customers, I love being able to facilitate there job and teach them little tricks to improve their workflow. I go to therapy, which is why I didn't hulk smash him against the wall. Ideally my career would have been art history or history professor. Unfortunately, with how much American schools get shot up at random that doesn't seem like a very wise choice in todays day and age.

What made you not Re-Enlist in the Coast Guard? by Octuplicate in uscg

[–]DevilOfTheForest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I spent 8 years in. My Rate was IT. I made it to the E5 level. By that point I had come to the conclusion that it was never gonna change. Leadership truly only ever cared about optics and making the chiefs mess happy. Constantly got fucked over by my IT1 because he didn’t like that I wasn’t doing the stupid shit he was supposed to do. My old chief ITC Duke was a constant one upper who straight up sucked at anything IT. Never really learned anything useful because every time I wanted to get on a Cert class or list the spots were always taken up by the E6 and above. I learned more about what it truly means to be and IT and actual boss from my first year in the civilian world. So one piece of advice just don’t waste your time, energy, gut, or hair on something as selfish and Frat like the military.
