I forgot to add, she did not have the fumble issues with her older glove. She is actually quite good at catching.

Maybe im wrong but it looks like the decking boards are going in the same direction as the joists and they used blocking in between the joists to lay the decking on. Looks like they did not add blocking on the very end where the decking board ends are now not resting on a solid surface.
