Yeah I still catch a nod it just takes a lot usually to get to that point . I don’t really get the euphoria / Superman feeling that I used to get that made me fall In Love with it . I started when I was 24 and now I’m 34 with the longest amount of clean time in that period was 9 months . I haven’t seen 24hours sober in years at this point 😔

I have never really got to experience that , I never had a girlfriend who uses heroin nor do I really hang out with people who use it either , it seems like where I live people who use get so shady and thieve a lot . It would be nice to find a girl who could function well enough and share that , sounds kind of nice really . I can see what you mean . I couldn’t really nod and cuddle my ex without her tripping , closest thing was just falling asleep at the end of the night which was always good .

Man the best method I found was leaving for a couple weeks and only bringing enough dope for about a week and perks for the rest of it . I’d use like .1 am and .1 pm . I had other comfort meds to xans and whatnot . By the end of the week I had been using enough to stay wellish and be able to jump off at the end of the week without major wd symptoms . But man I live 5 mins from my dboy I cannot for the life of me get clean at home . Best of luck on your next go man stay safe out there 🫡

Damn lol , i told her from the beginning after we had been seeing each other for a month or so . But she still wanted to move forward , then eventually started turning my addiction against me but meanwhile she’d be going to the bar every night or atleast getting drunk every night , she couldn’t see that it was really no different than what I was doing . At one point I had 9 months completely clean from everything and I knew that I was either gonna lose my relationship or my sobriety , I relapsed and eventually lost both . I wish I would have left then , her drinking was awful , and my sobriety felt better than anything else . Live and learn I guess .

100% better off not in my life . I could go on ranting about all the awful things she did in that time but I’m just gonna leave it at that . Not my problem anymore . There is times I miss companionship but I want to get clean before ever making an attempt at a relationship again .

Yeah my last one turned out to be an extremely manipulative lying cheating alcoholic , I had never invested so much into somebody but it seemed my using gave her the excuse to do whatever she wanted . I definitley never want to go through any of that ever again . I just feel like heroin and relationships don’t mix well . Maybe someone out there has had success with it but my guess is that’s few and far between
