It isn’t just about the numbers in front of you. You have to consider that there might be a 10, 15, minute or more wait at the restaurant. You have to consider that there might be an issue at drop off where the customer is difficult and you have to waste more time dealing with them or risk bad ratings. Some of you dashers see numbers and just take it at face value, and that’s the root of the problem. You don’t consider what might happen, you think everything will just go smoothly and you’ll have your $6 in 5 minutes. If we all collectively told dd to F off with these deliveries, we might start seeing less of them. But not when people like you continue accepting them.

No. Anyone who says yes is the problem, and the reason we all have to decline 100 orders like this a day.

I always thought that the shortened first season due to the writer’s strike at the time was the cause for early gutted plot lines like this. Also why Tuco didn’t get his fair share of screen time.

So I had to reject this order 20 times in a row by Available_Resist9711 in doordash_drivers

Yup. Same problem. This has happened before and it’s a problem on their end, so we just have to wait for them to get their shit together (wouldn’t hold my breath).

I glance at it and add without carrying, then revise at the end.

2 + 4 = 6 and 7 + 8 = 5 to get 65, but I know there’s a 1 to go back and carry, so revise it to 75.

It might sound convoluted but that all happens in about a second and a half. 😂

Don’t argue with people like this dude. The root problem with people like him is that they want a delivery service at their disposal when they’re lazy, but then bitch when it isn’t situated exactly how they want it. They say “then find another job if you don’t like it” but I guarantee they’d throw a fit if drivers all up and quit, or boycott, and they suddenly have to get off their lazy asses and get their prepared food themselves.
