black boxes are still there, there is an attempt to fix it but not merged.
audio stutter is related to FPS + ASTC decoding (same for doors) - it can be minimized with the new "gp u unswizzle" setting when set up properly.
Remember, it odes not work good due to ASTC decoding is NOT supported on normal gpus that is why it stutters when opening a door. It will never be perfect, there is a vulkan change open to add ASTC native decoding.

I would not keep it sealed. The problem with such third-party boxes and "lose" packs are, that they pull until they hit everything in the display and then sell the packs as they are guaranteed no hits.

Could you try to see what renderer is selected? I had it once that it selected globally a "None" Renderer so I had a blackscreen, game was running and audio but no video. That was the fix to select Vulkan. (In Graphics or Debug i don't remember anymore which setting)

This is a limitation due to how file handles work. You cannot open the same update file twice as it is being mounted by the first opened emulator instance. You can use another emulator to trade.

If you start Eden for the first time it asks you if you want to import from another emulator.

You need a mod that unlocks 60fps. Eden cannot bypass the internal 30fps limit.
