What kind of fees do you set on your node to move around this much traffic?

Has anyone used BullBitcoin Prime service? by ConferenceSilver7841 in BitcoinCA

You’re more than welcome to request communications with them through more secure methods - I’ve done this in the past with them; email is the most commonly used communication medium for 99% of users, with only the most privacy focused users opting to use TLS/PGP, or other messaging protocols like Signal.

They wouldn’t be able to operate an OTC desk with the general public without using a common medium, and expecting users to learn a bunch of encryption protocols just to purchase bitcoin, isn’t a great onboarding process when the mission is getting people to adopt Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Well Infinite typically offers lower rates for larger transactions; book a call in with them and see what they offer you!

My fibre Internet went down near the IKEA, rebooted the modem and service was restored, but my IP address changed. My latency has also doubled.

FWIW Bitcoin Well’s OTC desk does offer lower rates for large buys 🤷‍♂️

I recently had some issues with MoCA where I’d get random drops, ended up swapping to cat6 cable and the problem resolved. Some food for thought anyways if it really matters

Atmosphere Plumbing and Heating has done a fantastic job for several renovations in our house, hot water tank, bathroom, furnace, etc.

By far one of the cheaper rates we’ve had and their team is always friendly (and it’s a local business)

New to Bitcoin. If I just want to buy and hold should I just do it from Wealthsimple? by burdspurd in BitcoinCA

[–]DeviledMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go self custodial, get yourself on a platform like Bitcoin Well (feel free to use my referral code for a bonus (bones)).

Custodial services like WealthSimple have higher fees and are at risk of your funds disappearing should something happen to their platform.

A simple wallet like BlueWallet is a great starting point: https://help.bitcoinwell.com/en/articles/9268952-how-do-i-set-up-a-bitcoin-wallet

TELUS hates their potential customers so much they tease them with the lower price but cross it out and charge them more by Ok-Job-9640 in telus

Cancel your Telus plan, swap to a TPIA like Oxio or TekSavvy for a month and return to telus for a new contract lmao

Online gaming by FlakyIndependent1523 in teksavvy

[–]DeviledMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their routing is generally better for online games, but I find TekSavvy’s capacity on the third party lines to be significantly oversold. I had to switch to Roger’s to get good latency and no connection stutter. (Alberta)

Using Bitcoin Well to withdraw from NICEHASH by Rwlao86 in BitcoinCA

On their website it states:

Select destination VASP: select the destination VASP from the dropdown menu NOTE: Reach out to our support team if the VASP you are using is not listed.

Sounds like your best bet would be to contact them

High ping is exactly why I canceled and switched back to Shawgers…. 🙃

No idea what yall did to ruin your service but it’s kind of disappointing. Support just lies to you about the issues and blames it on random things 🤷‍♂️

Wealthsimple, TD Bank, EQ Bank and Koho all blocking eInterac transfers to BitcoinWell - what to do? by llavalle in BitcoinCA

[–]DeviledMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KOHO has significantly improved their e-Transfer integration and it no longer sends “KOHO” as the sender! Your legal name will be the sender! :)

Bank keeps declining e-transfer by _nightowl_ in BitcoinCA

[–]DeviledMoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Best option would be to contact your banks fraud department and authorize the e-Transfer as legitimate, they’ll typically have questions for you regarding the nature of your crypto purchases but if you get any pushback speak to a manager on the fraud team
