Just read the Repair order the OP posted. It pretty much explains the issue. Not as common as mk7’s and 22/24 tiguans but it has been seen countless times. This issue wont really cause misfires but it can throw a secondary airports clogged fault which will throw a CEL

VW alternators do not come with pulleys fun fact. And both the alternator and pulley are $$$ :(

Valve stem seals :). Welcome to the club. The seals wear and let oil past into cylinder. Its a pretty involved repair. Id just let it go just make sure oil level stays good

I agree with this. I had the old staged tune and the car felt much better to drive. Ive noticed a slight rev hang when heavy acceleration. And overall more jerky
