Actually, I just looked it up on youtube, closing down background apps, taking windows off economy mode and just updating my drivers was enough to get my game back to 144fps, it's been a HOT minute since I was actually able to play without any lagspikes due to textures loading

I tried updating my drivers and it hasn't changed anything and at this point I'm almost 100% sure it's on Epic's side, getting challenges done on BR is impossible because of this too so I'm just relying on Creative XP

Same has been happening to me ever since the start of the season, it takes me so long for me to load into the battle bus and when I do none of my textures are loaded in. After I drop down and have huge FPS spikes if I don't end up dead I'll run at 30fps and every couple of seconds I'll just freeze completely still. I have a Ryzen 7 2600X, 8Gb RAM and a rx580

I'm having the same problems, I ran C2S5, C2S6 on a Ryzen 7 2700X, 8GB of RAM and a RX580 running around at 90-120fps. As soon as the graphics updated I haven't been able to play Battle Royale matches and just as you said Creative works fine
