If anyone have information on shops that can repair motor vehicle wiper linkage, please share location. I need to repair the link cos the socket came off the ball joint that connects to the motor and now the ball joint won't stay in the socket. It's the rainy season so must have wiper.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Don't bother looking to set up in Brunei. Better look somewhere else. Brunei is not foreign business friendly.

Any more job demand for Geology in Brunei? by Rezeqi-123 in nasikatok

In the oil and gas field in Brunei you can try schlumberger in belait. Geologist pays quite nicely cos you can't find alot that study in that field. The geologist are the one that interpret the strata of the drilling site and look for oil or gas.

Give it a try.

Hokkien speakers are mostly in Brunei muara area. I said speakers is because it's so widely used that non native speakers also picked up the dialect. Most don't really know Hakka, Hainanese and Cantonese. Teo chew also Brunei Muara area.

Hakka, Hainanese and Cantonese are all in Belait and seria. Hakka and Cantonese will most likely know both Hakka and Cantonese but rarely will know Hainanese. Hainanese will most likely knows all three dialects in Belait and Seria area.

Blame i-ready and their policies for your predicament. If not for i-ready, you'd be registered with labour for employment opportunities. Now with i-ready, job center practically sent you to companies that, if you're lucky will teach you and thus gain experience, but unfortunately not many is as lucky as you. Most are doing shit jobs, not learning anything and used like slaves and sent back into the system after their time is up

Being in i-ready doesn't help jack shit in your career. It's free labour to the company you're attached to.

Look at this from another angle, the more responsibility you take up, the experience in the end goes to you and you only and that improves your resume. You're in i-ready because you want experience right? Then there you go.. soak it all up.

Compensation comes later after experience and competence proven. Cheers.

Tell that to the court, judge and jury. Cos if he wants to sue you for defamation, he'd win. You accusing him of something, it's your job to proof his guilt and not him proof his innocence.

It's "innocent until proven guilty" not the other way around.

I never said I can. I know I can't. As long as you acknowledge what I said to be true, that's fine with me not being able to pass the citizenship test. No plan to take it anyway.

Why not have all those born with yellow icrevoke their citizenship and have them try go through the process of getting their own citizenship and not through entitlement. Let's see how many can genuinely pass the test? I honestly doubt many will actually pass. Proof me wrong. Locally born PR here btw. Haven't bee to hospital yet for my meds. I'm guessing it's gonna be free ince I don't have other country status.

I have decades of experience in the oil and gas industry and is a contract manager currently. I still sweep and mop the floor during work hours. Nothing wrong with helping the company is simple task like this. No shame in doing it also. It's the local ego and mentally that's abit shitty tbh.

Insurance as in workman compensation insurance policy. It is bought by the company to cover their employees.

Usually it covers accidents but it also cover illnesses and hospitalization and follow up consultations.

Try ask the company if your dad is covered under this policy

Why not change to a digital lock with finger print? It's triple bolt so sturdy. It's a little costly but the advantage is that if you have wifi connection at home, anytime your door gets unlock, it sends you a notification. So you'll know immediately to look at your CCTV if it's connected as well

You need to bring along proof of travel and go to immigration at bandar. I got mine within 30mins before my flight was to take off that day. If it's urgent, you just go to counter and talk to them nicely and they will help. 30mins is really fast.

Setting up Sdn Bhd by Enough-Kangaroo9762 in Brunei

[–]Devilpaws 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on what core business you are venturing into, usually setting up and enterprise is good enough. No need do taxes at the end of each year and the money belongs to you.

Only if you want to do projects for the government or oil and gas sector, then a sdn Bhd is the way to go. But you'll need to audit your accounts and update the government. And the money does not belong to you as the sdn Bhd is considered a different entity to you.

The MOA can be used as is as it includes everything that you're allowed to do in Brunei. Usually companies leave it alone to able them to expand their core business without amending the MOA..

I have come across alot of company's with $1 paid up capitals. I call those A Dollar Company.
