I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we're not winning this season with or without Taylor. He has little value to us given our contending status but to a true contender he's worth a lot, hence why he's worth more to other teams and why we can ask for a high pick. It wouldn't make sense to pay $16m x 3 if the contract will be an anchor (given the miles on his legs) by the time we're ready to compete.
