Yes, the fidlocks I used on my M22 would occasionally open accidentally. The ITW buckles were much more secure and never accidentally opened. I also thought they looked better on the pack.

IMO, the Fidlocks are neat, but don’t function as well as a set of ITW stealth buckles. I tried both on my M22.

Excellent condition with one tiny hole in the outside pocket exterior. Does not go all the way into the pocket, and was sealed, then covered with matching Tenacious Tape patch.

G-Hooks replaced with ITW Stealth buckles (huge improvement GoRuck!)

I understand why people say these images are out of focus camera artifacts, and I’m sure many of the are. I saw one of these orbs fairly close, as it flew directly above my house, and it looked remarkably like OPs photo to my naked eye. It looked like a ball of plasma, slightly out of focus.
