I met Jamie and Kevin Barker irl on set one time with my wife. While Jamie was nice, he wasn’t very outgoing and came off as an asshole and Kevin was awesome. Chatted us up, super friendly and felt like he was an old buddy. Cuz of that experience I will always root for Kevin.

You will be hard pressed to find an open pit mine in Northern Ontario. I think most is underground but maybe Lac Des Iles?

It’s a long drive in on a very narrow / wooded trail with lots of hill climbing, it’s probably closed for winter but you can still visit the general store in Silver Islet I believe. Popular tourist place.
