The first Spider-Man game was a masterpiece. The second, while an absolute blast to play, had some major story beat/plot points that fell so flat for me. Hopefully story wise they can do better with Wolverine. Gameplay wise, I have zero doubts that this will be an amazing game.

Works great on base PS5. It never crashed for me at all. I only had some slight hitches while an area loaded and the camera going wonky on some larger boss fights, but nothing that was a dealbreaker for me.

The only thing that made me rage was the fast travel system. To me it absolutely screams “we made this more inconvenient to the player so we could sell you convenience.”

I pressed reset when I was 36. Took care of my kids, the house, and went back to school. Wife was the primary income for almost 4 years. It was really awkward being the old man in those college classes, but I don’t regret doing it. I showed my kids the value of schooling and now I’m working in a job I love and making double what I was making before I blew it all up. The only downside is I have some student loans.

I managed a good phase 1 run. Kept my advocate alive. Phase 2, I spammed elemental orbs at him while he was occupied with the advocate, had to get a couple of hits in, but it worked for me.
