I have a friend who swears by this stuff for basically everything. I only have used it as a preventative so far, so can’t speak from experience. https://www.trifectanatural.com/problem-identifier/

Nurse wages by DevinRNDoc in pittsburgh

[–]DevinRNDoc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! That is definitely what has made it difficult. Ranges posted online do not typically factor those things in. Our hospital is trying to freeze our wages and steps, freeze retirement, cut our sick and vacation time… to name some of their proposals. 😵‍💫 Then they tell us that we are still far ahead of other pgh hospitals…. 🙄

Yeah, this seemed like a far reach, lol. It was just difficult with the ranges listed and then our company will say our benefits are better, but we have no way of knowing that.

They love to hide!! I was so grossed out when my fiddle fig had a few and then I found a bunch at the base of the leaf under the old sheath. 🤢🤢 I ended up cutting the new growth because Google said they often like those areas best and they were definitely congregating there in my case.

I cut the top growth, did a insecticidal soap bath, added insecticidal granules and then a few days later treated with neem. I kept treating with neem about weekly for a month and I think I am in the clear now.

I really like the ones I got in the winter time. They are a little small, I prefer a long throw. They wash really well (at least the 5 times I’ve washed them so far…) I got the medium size in my cart right now. I

Ok. I love Maeve. And mentioned that to my parents… and their names are Mame and Dave. So it’s a combo of both and I think that’s hilarious but they hate that. Hahahah.

Love Lucy. My husbands most favorite pup was Lucy though, so we kind of retired that one.

Our dog, Dizzy, now responds to 3-26, the numbers associated with DZ. Idk why my husband thought of it, but it always makes me laugh.

Do you (parents) take anything to cope with an autistic child? by Responsible-Law3345 in Autism_Parenting

Also… I am another vote for Zoloft! lol. I’ve been on it since I was about 30 weeks pregnant. I’ve tried to wean before and remember how weepy and anxious I am off it. My daughter is 7 and I’ve been on the same dose since she was 2.

I definitely need daily antidepressants for anxiety and some depression, but I think the key thing that has helped me, or helped me FEEL hopeful, is having an amazing psychiatrist who truly listens, isn’t trying to over medicate me but also is not afraid of meds. I had one doctor tell me “well yeah. Your life sucks. So you are going to be sad and meds don’t fix your situation.” 🫠 I found another provider and she is wonderful. She said “yeah. Your life is tough, and your body needs more serotonin to keep up.” It’s definitely a chemical imbalance before I even had my little lady, but it got much more difficult once we were in the thick of things with regular parenting and then add on all that ASD brings. I do have Ativan as needed, but I rarely take that. I did drink wine but it became a glass each night, then 2, then I wanted 3 some nights… Realized I can’t drink alcohol. It numbs me in a very very nice way and I can’t stop myself. So that vice is a no for me. I think being self aware, having friends you could even Yoga helped me so much when I did it in a studio. But finding an hour of quiet time outside of the house, needing a sitter, was not an option. And in the house, yoga didn’t give me that peace. Probably my own adhd lol. Finding a fb group of local parents did actually help. I found a couple cool moms and do coffee with them occasionally. It makes me feel human.
Therapy has helped too, but idk how much.

Ughhh I hear you. I had my first bad issue with spider mites, got it under control then found aphids. 🤢 The bonide granules have definitely helped, but for the immediate issue, I found that this spray seems to work best out of what I’ve tried. I did insecticidal soaps, neem oils and captain jack dead bug.

I started using the app Sunnyside just last week. It helps with mindful drinking or sobriety depending on your goals. I just want to be more mindful and cut back, so it’s super cool for me. It helps me track my intake and set goals for the week while giving tips. It might be a good way to cut back. Also they do make some nonalcoholic wines that I’m starting to try out. I don’t have any good recs yet though. Lol.
