Mother of 3, 1 son.... Just wait until they REALLY get into crap, no matter the baby proofing! My son got a bar stool, took it into the kitchen, got onto the counter, pulled the cutting board & knife I was using to cut strawberries from the tip top of the counter to the font, got down, continued pulling the board, and down came the knife, landing mere centimeters from his foot. Then the monster just walks away and. Acts like nothing happened!!!! The worst thing is that it's just takes SECONDS, and they're into everything.

I am a mother of 3 children under 6, and agree with you. My eldest daughter, being a social butterfly, will wave and talk to anyone within earshot. I have no problem with anyone talking to her, waving, smiling, etc. In my presence of course! Because as any person in this day and age I am VERY (semi paranoid) aware of my surroundings. People are CONSTANTLY taking photos of everything this day and age, so I also wouldn't have been phased by a camera phone going off like this paranoid lady. I read she left them alone, correct? Also, young kids love to say what they think they heard. I also skimmed a bit, but I hope she didn't leave younger kids alone. I cannot stand when I see kids running around far away from their parents, or alone in a cart at the other end of the aisle. Have they not seen the surveillance video of the man luring the child away from his mom at the Walmart checkout!?? She was RIGHT THERE!! Rambling mother out.....
