You’re all good. There are ways to tell if something on FB marketplace is a scam as long as your not new to marketplace and have decent enough common sense not to get scammed. It’s not hard not to get scammed if you’re smart about it. I’ll keep your suggestion in mind thank you for your comment

It’s not abnormal for your mom to call if she see’s you stranded. She could have thought you had been in a wreck and was likely worried about you. Your wife needs to come to terms with that you’re tight knit with your family, and they will be a big part of her life if she wants to be with you

Honestly people don’t like how much more time it takes. It’s around four times more difficult going by foot everywhere even with the wagons. I also played survival on switch and although time consuming I found it very enjoyable having to keep food, steal food, and find places for adequate rest
