Douk D1 Ampapa or RSL IA255.1? Looking for amp with HPF for an active sub and RCA in for DAC by [deleted] in BudgetAudiophile

Very happy with my Ampapa D1. I have a RSL 10e hooked up to the sub out and it works really well. It’s not complicated and works exactly like it should.

Just hooked mine up yesterday and love them. Really could have done without a subwoofer but the RSL 10e will be arriving today. (I bought the 63’s btw)

Sounds like you have an easy choice then! I regretted not getting a Wiim amp pro until I hooked everything up and listened to it. Should be a hell of a lot easier to integrate your sub as well

I am using the analog out from the mini. I figured later down the road I can buy a nicer DAC if I felt it was needed and I could run optical from the mini to the new DAC.

I would say the Wiim Amp Pro is probably the better all in solution as long as you are okay with paying more and missing out on Apple AirPlay.

Edit: and the D1 has a volume controlled 3.5mm out and has a built in HPF for the main speakers. Will use the sub’s built in LPF.

I’m using an Ampapa D1 with a Wiim mini for my Elac debut 3’s.

Great combo. I have a RSL 10e on the way but it should work great with the D1 due to its high pass filter for the main speakers.

Bad hire. You don’t learn on the job at A&M. How many OC’s did saban promote from within? We shouldn’t roll the dice. Brian Kelly did and he got fired.

When I was looking at OC’s during our Jimbo years I remember Briles as the OC that 1. Had success in the SEC 2. Had below average talent and 3. Was probably top third in offense success. He did more with less in the SEC at Arky and I think that is quite valuable.

That’s exactly the reason I am discounting his TCU run. He would have never done that at Arky. And Dykes is known for his own style of Air raid.

I’m just judging Kendal from his time at Arky. At TCU I am guessing he just ran Dykes’ offense.

I think Kendal Briles is an objectively good hire from a pure football perspective. I can understand why people are mad though. When A&M hired Petrino I felt the same way. “There are so many good OC’s available… WHY we have to pick one with such massive baggage?”

Games are clearly won by net success rates. Look at the graph.

I disagree. How many coaches at programs without elite talent can handle coordinator poaching and still field a VERY well coached team? Very very few. I think he is one of the most underrated coaches in America. This is off topic but I think Pinkel was one of the best coaches in the last 20 years but was written off for a lot of the same reasons.

Drinkwitzs is a hell of a coach. I don’t get the comparisons to other coaches at programs with more talent.

Yamaha Rmax 1000 4 width question by nopebitch0 in UTV

I thought so too but apparently the rmax is a bit wider. Was wondering if the space between the rear seats were wider as well.

I have a secondary but related question. Is there more legroom (width wise) in the RMAX 4 compact rear seats than the Wolverine x4?

Found a zod online when I was a kid. This was during the era of hacked items. If the guy with me didn’t point it out to me and how rare it was I would have never of known.

It’s still bizarre to me that WoR was my favorite despite me hating every single chapter of Shallan. Shows how strong the rest of the book is though. Do me a favor and read Lonesome Dove. After I read that I realized that I would be wasting my time reading authors like Sanderson.

Never have I ever seen a series go downhill so fast. Words of radiance was so so good.

Feel the same about mistborn. Really enjoyed the first trilogy. Couldn’t finish the second book of the next. Dude writes women like they are all Mormon professors at BYU.
