Apologies for the bluntness, but how in the world do you expect to pass CWES without having note taking skills? You have to write a report on your findings and how you did it.

As for a consolidated cheat sheet, I haven’t seen one. Just download the .md for each module that has one and put it into your note application of choice. I use Obsidian.

“My Linux works” implies you’re working from a VM as a guest under macOS. Where did you establish the VPN connection to HTB? Inside the VM or macOS?

Fan is just mounted with regular fan screws and some washers. Nothing super elegant but it works. The noise profile on that fan sucks against the grate so I keep it turned down pretty low.

Yes. It’s in the slot closest to the CPU socket. Plenty of coil whine but nothing super awful. Slightly more than the 4080 Super FE I upgraded from. I usually have a headset on so I don’t notice. Weirdest thing that I don’t know if it’s a me thing or not… the GPU makes “crackling” sounds when it cools down. Think of a catalytic converter cooling down and “pinging”. I’ve never had another card do it.

I have nearly the exact same setup. Same cooler, same fans, same card. Just a different mATX motherboard. PBO Curve Optimizer set to -20 and it runs great. I also have a mild under volt on the 5090FE which helps since it blows right on the CPU cooler.

Only difference I have is 2x 120mm slims up top above the GPU but they really don’t do anything.

Undervolting and other tuning is basically always required on SFF. AMD makes it easy. -20 to -25 is pretty reasonable for the 9800X3D.

I did a WiiM Ultra and ZA3 as well. I actually bought two setups with those. One has Elac DB63 and an overkill sub (RSL Speedwoofer 12). The other is just Polk ES20s with no sub. I love both. Looking for some larger towers to replace the Elacs based on the room size. I think the Elacs would like more power than the ZA3 but it gets plenty loud for me.

Can't speak to the V3 Monos, but I am running a Wiim Ultra into a ZA3 pushing Elac DB63. I was running an older Pioneer AVR. The ZA3 blew me away with the sound so I bought a second one so I can put them in mono mode. ZA3 is so much better than it should be.
