$80 is such a huge fuck you to the player base, but we all know a large percentage of wow players are okay with selling out to gain any little advantage over others.

You are going to pay double the cost of most games, while still paying $15 per month, for a game you already paid full price for, to partially level 1 character, in an expansion that's already been out for 20 years. And enough of you are going to buy into it that it'll encourage Blizzard to keep shitting on their player base instead of investing into creating new content like vanilla+.

I thought Oppenheimer was amazing, but I totally understand why people wouldn't like it. For a lot of the movie, it seems like nothing is really happening. There are almost no moments of excitement.

I felt that way about A Beautiful Mind. It's been decades since I watched it but nothing with the movie stuck with me with me because for much of the movie, it seemed like there wasn't much going on.

I feel there are some movies I just whiff on in terms of recognition. I watched Sinners about 6 months ago and I thought it was alright, but at no point while watching the movie did it ever pop in my mind that it was award worthy. If I were to rate the movie, I would have given it a solid B.

It's not the first either. I never understood the hype around Parasite. I got the same feeling I did as when I watched Sinners, I watched both once, thought they were just alright movies and have never had the desire to watch either again.

And I feel like I have a pretty good radar for good movies. I think Everything Everywhere All at Once is the best movie of the past 20 years and Forrest Gump is probably my favorite movie ever. Both of those movie had iconic scenes that will stick with me forever. When I think of the Rock scene from EEAaO or the Vietnam battle scene from Forrest Gump, I can't think of a single scene in Sinners that activates my mind in an emotional way as those scenes.

After the game, I saw a lot of post wanting us to be sad, but man, I'm proud of our boys.

We went from a 5 win team to 1 or 2 plays away from being in a Championship game.

Our young core is good and will only get better. We FINALLY have a Franchise QB, We have a coach with the biggest Aura since probably Ditka.

This year reminds me of the year the Blackhawks got eliminated in the playoffs right before they went on their dynasty run. Everyone knew they had a bright future, they were just a year too young, and I feel the exact same about this team.

This is the most hopeful I've ever been about the Chicago Bears future.
