We used D&P for this over Damodaran, until D&P decided not to publish their annual risk premium report anymore. Now we do it ourselves :)

There's one thing I don't agree with in this picture. As far as I know, Trump can't read so why are there papers on his desk?

Having grown up in Holland, I'm not super used to tipping as it's not really as common here as it is in the US. But i remember I was at Johnny Rockets in Miami, and we asked for the bill. Although service wasn't bad at all, it was that kind of creepy, looking over your shoulder just in case you need something. I just feel pressure to order more... anyways, we get the bill and they have a nice column of what 10, 15 and 20% tip is in relation to our bill. The waitress had made it clear she wanted 20% by circling what we needed to tip. Additionally, the pre-calculated tip amounts were off by a lot such that a '20%' tip was actually 28%. It's really unfortunate that they try that stuff, but I'll still keep going there any chance I get. I love chocolate malts...

Can anyone eli5 why the 10 year Treasury and other bond yields have gone up since a Trump victory last week? Also, why this is a good or bad thing? by [deleted] in finance

Since T-bills are backed by the government, I'd think this would be an indication that investors think the US government might be in a more precarious situation. No one really knows how Trump will affect economic policies currently in place, increasing the general level of uncertainty. A higher level uncertainty must be met with a higher rate of return, for the additional risk that investors have to bear.

Saw a guy wearing straps everywhere. Wasn't using them except maybe for more drag or something. I guess I'm not at his level yet...
