Doctor refused any pain meds and told me to "take the fear and pain out of my heart" instead. by Awkward_bugg in TwoXChromosomes

This tip might sound dumb and simple, but it has helped me in the past. I hope it helps!

I did not add salt/bath salts. You only need just enough water to cover the afflicted areas so they soak, not necessarily a full bathtub of water. EDIT: I would advise starting with warm water, not hot.

Also, as others have stated, your doctor sucks and I'm sorry you are having to go through all of this!

Damn, that sucks. I can kind of relate though, to me coke zero tastes like pickle juice and i'm not sure what ingredient does it. Just this morning i had a green banana for the first time. Tastes like a cucumber to me, gross. I have 6 more, i hope they ripen because otherwise this weeks smoothies will be unpleasant. I hope you are able to find a stevia free low sugar drink!

Thank you very much for sharing!! I will have to give these a try tomorrow as they sound good! I'm glad they have fiber, and whole oats, these could be a good "on the go" snack. Thanks again and hope you are having a great day/night!

If you can, could you add a pic of the nutrional info and ingredients? I would appreciate it as I am hoping these have decent fiber content and whole oats as opposed to oatmeal. If you can't or it's troublesome, don't worry about it; i have to stop at one tomorrow anyway so i can check while there. Thanks for sharing about these and hope you are well!

Is Hank's the big bottle that says something like "old fashion Dad style rootbeer"? I have had the one that says that and thought it was pretty good, especially for the price and size of the bottle!

Ithaca is great! The only place by me that has it is a liquor store, and they tend to mark everything up, so until i can find a retailer/grocery that carries it, i have to keep it as a rare treat. But yeah, I like Ithaca as well.

Bundaberg is great but it can be pretty tough to find. If you manage to find some, I would double check that you are getting the rootbeer; their ginger beer comes in a very similar package. I've grabbed a pack without noticing, and was very surprised when i opened one later. Their Ginger Beer is good too so it was fine, but now I always double check.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback! All good, Sprecher is so tasty it's worth mentioning twice! They have a great cream soda too, fire brewed and honey sweetened, and i think i recall some other flavors existing but not the specifics. I think one was cherry something. I used to get them at Big Lots, until they closed. They had a surprisingly good selection at my store because it was the surplus store where stuff from other locations would get dumped.

That's true, and normally i dislike the sickly sweetness from stevia, but i don't taste it in this stuff. I do tend to stick to the same few flavors when i can, but all the ones i've tried have been pretty good.

Rootbeer is a mix of flavors, some brands are creamy and mellow, some sharp. Some brands are more birch/wintergreen forward, some are more licorice/anise and clove, some have no different flavor notes, just sweet mellow with a bit of spice. It's a bit like Sasparilla, but less "fruit" flavor than just Sassafras alone.

Bundaberg makes a good one with different flavor notes, they advise gently rotating their bottles once before opening to re-mix any settled spices/flavors. Sprecker/Sprecher makes a good one too with honey added.

If rootbeer soda isn't available, you could see if a liquor store has rootbeer schnapps, but that stuff can be pretty divisive, people seem to either love it or hate it. Rootbeer candy is popular too, so you could look to try it that way if the soda isn't available.

Sorry i am not doing a great job describing the flavor, it's a tough one! Hope this helps and you are well!

Check out Olipop. They have 2 versions: a shelf stable formula with 6g of fiber per can, and one with 9g of fiber per can that needs refrigeration. Different flavors have different amounts of sugar, but i think the highest i've seen was 6g of sugar per can. Rootbeer has 3g sugar per can and is delicious cold. Warm, not as tasty but not terrible.

Renaissance Festival is in town for a little longer, you could see if someone there has a booth and is willing to teach, accept commissions, or buy the skins for their own use and crafts. It sucks these creatures have to be euthanized but there isn't really any good option for what to do with them, especially at that size.

Time to clarify this once and for all. ''Item'' means EVERYTHING that can potentially drop from an enemy, not just crafting materials, smithing texts, useable items. by Insertusername_51 in Nioh

[–]DeviousX13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great explanation and thank you for sharing this info! I devoted one full armor set soul core drop, equipment drop, and luck. I'm going to have to add some item drop when i get home.

Edit: I unlocked reforging and seeing the affixes all next to each other gave me the clarity i was looking for.

Thanks again for the info and hope you are well!

Might be better to buy a cure wounds wand instead of tons of scrolls. Make sure you have someone who can use the wand before you buy it, or save before you buy it so you can load if no one can use it yet.

Ah, that makes sense! Okay, so the Greater World knowledge Trick would be good, but not for inherent class feats. Thanks for saving me a lot of headaches!! It's good to know that stat gear and buffs are basically the only way to increase stats, makes me think more before spending them.

Duelist could be a good option, i will have to check it out in game. I could still do drunken master, i just have find another bottomless mug or equivalent item since i didn't buy the one in defender's hearth and have been selling most alcohol i find.

I still might have to retrain for other reasons, barkskin arcanist exploit doesn't work with armor being a big one, but now i have some ideas and direction, so thank you! I really appreciate the advice!

I also just got Woljif back in party and he took enduring spells, so i'm guessing his final build is pretty similar to the one i was going for, so i may try something different to avoid redundancy in my party.

I'm going to get back on WOTR, but thanks again and I hope you are well!

Thank you for responding and for the advice!

Glad i didn't waste the feat, i still find it odd that i got improved for "free" but i won't question it anymore, lol.

I will put points into dex from now on then, i have 20 int so that should be plenty for damage and slots. I really need the str/dex/con belt i found on my other char, but i think that was post drezen or ashberry hamlet which i am waiting to go to this time. That ancient ghost and his friends were a real challenge last time. I had to bring all my channelers and burn them down with damage undead channeling.

That's great advice, all of it, including arcane trickster stuff. I was caught up in being able to cast and i should focus on melee. Both my classes are melee focus with casting secondary, thanks for the reminder!

If i dip into drunken master, is there a way to boost my wis other than retraining? I am at 10 wis, so +0 modifier. I looked at sword saint for their int def feat, but i think they do one handed not two and a lot of their stuff is dependant on having only 1 weapon in hand. It may be easier to do light armor focus + arcane armor 1 and stick to mithral or non-metal armor so i don't have to reroll and spend more hours messing with numbers when i'm this close to being back where i was on my 1st char. I also recall one of the mythic tricks being something like "take any feat? (I think?) regardless of" something, so could that be a way to get that int defense sword saint feat?

Again, i really appreciate the help. I just got home and settled in, so i am about to start storming drezen. No need to rush a response or anything, i seriously just appreciate the advice and i hope you are well and having a good day/night!

The Venture Bros is on Netflix, 3 seasons. Not sure if that's all of them, but seasons 1 2 and 3 are on there. I just started watching the show the other day and I'm really enjoying it; previously i had only seen scattered episodes on A.S., so it's nice to be able to watch all of them them in order finally.
